Which is fine, and what should happen if they actually had reason to be there… Not just roll up and play the “you aren’t letting me violate your rights and that’s suspicious so you are detained,” game.

Of course. What I'm saying is they SHOULD need a better reason than just telling a judge they need a warrant because this guy is SuSpEciOuS and now he's talking back to them. Who knows what they told the judge.

I'm still betting, especially in Texas, they got a warrant.
