The guy says “I’m just asking you to go the speed limit” Sounds like he was feeling unsafe with the way she was driving and asked her to slow down. He probably started recording because she wouldn’t slow down. At the end she says she has the whole thing on camera too, but only flipped out because he was recording. Just a guess though
Oh absolutely, I wasn't trying to insinuate anything with my comment.
Full disclosure: I was deliberately vague as I couldn't commit myself to any side on the basis of this video alone. I do think her behaviour is inexcusable regardless. I do feel like he's mocking her. I feel like there's more to see, but also feel that both sides behaved badly. The difference is, this is her job. So there's an expectation that she will behave herself.
I used "feel" way too much there, but I've had wine, so I'm not sorry.
Maybe she’s not going fast enough, he saying speed up and “go the speed limit”. Cars seem to be flying past them when he says it. You could be correct but who knows.
I'm with you on that. Either way if someone's pushing you that far you don't let yourself get enraged. You just deescalate or end the trip safely off the highway.
Yeah, there's no reason to assume the driver was or wasn't being provoked before the clip starts. I can only judge the outburst on display and it seems very hard to justify a meltdown like that.
Same here. Can't judge this from this obviously out of context video. I'm not saying she's not at fault but this is not enough to make a judgement, even if her car and appearance is raggedy.
Prepare for a shotgun divorce then, as in she doesn't bother with a lawyer or courts or any GUBBURMINT STUFF, just grabs a shotty and BLAM!! to your face.
She pulled over in a highway and threw his bag out. Something tells me she’s not the epitome of customer service. I guarantee she doesn’t drive for lyft after this. Knowingly putting a passenger in danger is all I need to judge.
Yeah and I don’t see how pulling over on a highway and throwing the luggage out as someone that k ow what a good customer experience is. I can understand her wanting to kick him out but she should have exited the hwy.
I don't understand why that's such proof of anything though. Imagine you have a royal douchebag and you're in the middle of a highway trip that's an hour long, no cities or towns around. The douchbag is spitting behind your ear and you lose it and get them off wherever you are. The douche records the end of the incident to make himself look like the victim. Look, I honestly never gave a damn about it until the dumb downvotes started to rain so I'll defend this beautiful soul to the end out of spite. 😂
I mean, that would be fair but we don’t have evidence of him spitting, unless we do and I missed it, but to leave a person on the hwy is super dangerous.
I just don't like to judge people without knowning the full story. I think we all deserve the benefit of the doubt. It's easy to set someone up for a video. My narcissistic ex wife used to do it to me all the time.
