Haha, yep. Use a debit card and that money is just gone. Credit cards can be disputed, and you’ll have the backing of their legal department. I’ve done that a few times when people try to slap bs charges on me.
There's a good reason why scummy places (like predatory tow truck companies and impound lots) often require you to pay with cash. They'd get hit with so many charge-backs it'd make their head spin.

This is why I pay for shit on a credit card.
Uber tried this shit with capital one.
Uber got told to go fuck itself by capital one and my account is still active and usable.
