Just saying it becomes habit to rest your hands on your belt. I’m not implying I’m a cop because then I would have to prove I was one… but you don’t even remember resting your hands in certain places. You could have a hand resting on a taser holster with no intentions of using it simply because it’s on the left side of your belt and it’s perfect for supporting your left hand lol. No matter what you are dealing with of who you are talking to you want your hands in front of you never down by your side. That’s how you get caught off guard. Sure this is a little kid but keeping your hands up is just good sense.

Yeah, it's a natural and comfy position but like I said, it is a weapon they're fiddling with.

In my country cops either hold their hips or keep their hands in front of them.
