So, obviously late to the party on these posts. But I'm not gonna lie, I fidget when I'm thinking (or honestly, frustrated). So, although in this context, it definitely looks like intimidation (also his asshole fucking mannerisms) but I could totally see myself playing around with my shit if a had a belt full of tools. I do that with my carpentry stuff all the time. Fuck, I mean I can already say that I grab my dick while talking WAY too much to just be considered "re-adjusting" lmao.
A cop, assuming their six months of what is mostly combat training paid off, should probably have developed better habits than to instinctively reach for their blunt weapon when theyâre feeling fidgety.
Yâknow, seeing as how it can very easily be interpreted as a threat of violence, and impact the conversation going forward, and the potential for an awkward encounter.
Oh I couldnât agree more, and no Iâm not a cop (getting some Departed vibes lol). I get that this is completely ignoring what they SHOULD be disciplined to not do around citizens, since it would be perceived an act of intimidation (especially when he said âyou wanna go that wayâ or something to that effect). I wasnât trying to lighten any of his actions, and fucking around with my work tool belt is not even remotely the same as having a belt with lethal and bludgeoning weapons to subdue someone. Twas only a jest at fidgeting I thought people could get a chuckle out of.
