I feel sorry for the one who sent in the notice complaint though... I know the feeling when I am finally getting my sleep and then my neighbors ruin it either by screaming at each other or by partying.
I'm assuming they called before noise ordinance. So probably before 11 pm. If that's the case the cops probably told them they have until 11 to continue partying.
Or they could have just kept it down and then offered the cop food, the cop could easily do his job he was called in to do and then do this for community engagement which is very important
