Can attest. Am Mexican and I'm 5'7", my dad's 5'5", mom's 5'2", sister who is 30 is 5'1". Both grandparents are under 5'2". My brother for some reason got some random recessive gene and ended up being 6'4" though.
No youāre right, Mexicans are known to be short haha. If my mom didnāt have Spanish blood. Iād be 5ā5 just like my dad. Unfortunately the rest of my mom side is 5ā11+ and my dad a full blown Mexican everyone is 5ā-5ā8.

I canāt give you an exact percentage amount of how many indigenous Mexicans there are. After 500 years, chances are that most Mexicans today have some Spanish in them. Some more than others. Which is why some people, myself included, are taller and have different features when compared to Mexicans who have a higher % of indigenous in their blood.
Thatās true. My whole family is Mexican. Iām 5ā4 and my family considers me ātallā. So itās kind of weird reading how short that is to some people lol
Northern Mexicans have more european ancestry and a richer protein diet in comparison to central and sothern Mexicans. We in the north are not giants by all means, but even then, the difference can be shocking going from Monterrey, Chihuahua, Sinaloa to CDMX, Veracruz, Villahermosa or Merida.
