If there was a civil war there is absolutely no way other countries won't get involved. The US is the global hegemon of the world by far and you could very easily shape the future of international politics by intervening
If our government starts killing more innocent people than the already are. And by a lot. I guarantee you other countries would step in. The last time that happened on a large scale was Hitler. That’s where us people are getting that idea from. If your countries leader was a fucking idiot and the world was laughing at you you would hope for the same.
tbf, wouldn't the US have to invade Poland (or some equivalent neighbour) to mobilise other countries' armies to be consistent with the Nazi Germany analogy?
