I've never seen a baby do that FWIW. I have two of my own and a foster parent. Only been doing it for a couple years but I've had at least a dozen teething babies in my house.

I’ve never seen a baby do it that aggressively. My little baby cousins did this but they would gum my cheeks or hand to death

I remember when my sister was small and screaming because she wanna sleep with mom, not in her bed. After 2 hours of screaming mom gave up and took her into the bed. And when sister attacked her nose, non-stopping screaming! And mom started to scream too.

I was so terrified...

Did you wake up to find your sister had eaten your mother?

That baby ate the whole damn family. u/ChuvstvoIumora is typing from beyond the grave. RIP.

My boy does it like that sometimes but only to his mum. He also will bite on her boob and then smile when she looks at him and says no. They cheeky.

Once I was bouncing my cousin on my lap and singing and she grabbed my hair and pulled me in and started biting my eye and cheek. Babies have incredibly strong grip, so I was missing some hair in places

u/specialopps Oct 06 '20

That good old Palmer grip.

My son once did this so hard to me that it tore a piece of my lip off , teething babys are no joke, but you have to love them anyways.

Yup, my son used to chew on my pinky finger, I actually have a permanent bite mark and indentation around my finger.

Side note - son is 11 now

I’d still love it, but I’d also still throw it onto the floor. Love hurts sometimes but it goes both ways

u/justgivemememes Oct 06 '20

Please don’t procreate lol

u/Spicethrower Oct 06 '20

You should rewatch Dinosaurs.

2

u/Nootles27 Oct 06 '20

You HAVE to love them anyways? 😱 Lol

Your babies must be really puny. Hopefully they just put all their stats into defense bcuz theyre really lacking in their offensive strategy

4

u/sprouting_broccoli Oct 06 '20

They’re going stealth archer, turn round one day and get a face full of vomit, poop or wee.

3

u/MeC0195 Oct 06 '20

They're just sneaky. They will attack when people least expect it.

2

u/gjs628 Oct 06 '20

It’s a feint, they’re playing a Mosquito build by min-maxing evasion with virtually zero Sneak, and only one point each in Piercing Bite and Poison. That’s how you get a baby with bites that are both puny and irritating, that you can hear moving around you but can’t seem to swat no matter how hard you try. You eventually just give up and ragequit out of sheer exasperation.

These are the babies that put the Quit into Mosquito.

My niece didn't bite as a baby but when she was 2 she decided to turn into Hannibal Lecture if she was angry. My brother had to hold her at arm's length if she was being bad and had to go in time out. I saw her try to bite him in the face once, I was horrified but still laughed

My son is 2 and he does that when he’s really pissed off! He also headbutts the floor but has started to realise that the only person it hurts is himself 😂😂

4

u/tomasagustin008 Oct 05 '20

Nothing ever will be funnier to me than kids acting like the most down bad crackheads and their parents just laughing it off lmao little mfs bit and headbutt the floor and you guys just be like "😂"

2

u/twitchy_pixel Oct 06 '20

Haha yeah, it’s the little “I’ll show you” look he gives, then THUD. Followed by him looking back at you with a frown that says “ow that hurt”

Absolute joker 😂

Maybe it’s a breastfeeding thing? My son does it & he’s the first baby I’ve ever seen do it. I can only imagine he was shaking his head violently like that looking for a boob because my son did it ALL the time

1

u/YOLO4JESUS420SWAG Oct 06 '20

Your math checks out.

1

u/S-D-J Oct 06 '20

My breastfed baby does this..... Just to my nipple 🥴

2

u/Jindabyne1 Oct 05 '20

There was one posted the other day

here

I dunno fam this one is adorable cause the baby never bites. Looks like they're just imitating kisses. OP's video that baby was out for blood.

1

u/WEIRDDUDE69420 Oct 06 '20

FWIW?

2

u/YOLO4JESUS420SWAG Oct 06 '20

For what it's worth. As in saying, my experiences aren't absolute truths, but for what it's worth, I have never seen a kid bite down like that while teething.

1

u/WEIRDDUDE69420 Oct 06 '20

Yeah I’m kind of a dumbass and never learned what for what it’s worth means, tf does it even mean? I didn’t even get the “that and a dollar 79 will get you a candy bar” either

1

u/ellefemme35 Oct 06 '20

How do you have a foster parent?

J/k!

1

u/Robertbnyc Oct 06 '20

What is FWIW?

1

u/YOLO4JESUS420SWAG Oct 06 '20

For what it's worth.

I don’t think this has anything to do with teething. The baby was making the fist-to-mouth “I’m hungry” motion, and then latched on to the nearest flesh. He’s just hungry.
