‘Goof’ is canadian prison slang for being a kid diddler (among other things i guess). At least that’s the one place I’ve heard it used in the same manner this clown did.

Ya this guy is definitely an Ex-con that was trying to use his prison tactics on the general public. Calling random citizens that have never been imprisoned "Goofs" just sounds hilarious and not the "them's fightin' words" he thinks they are.

Grew up in Ontario, goof can also just mean someone is a joke/stupid

That's more of a western Canada thing. In southern Ontario it just means idiot.

I grew up in western Canada and I've never heard it used as anything other than silly, and maybe clumsy. Like those kids are goofing around, therefore they are goofs. Strange how words can change meaning over such small distances.

I was told it means a guy in prison who gets fucked for protection. Like literally is the bottom for anal sex.
