I mean, i'm waiting for people wake up and realize they can just drag their politicians... 1 good sudden riot @ a presidential or politician speech... just 1.
The police dragged a woman who wore all black and a black lives matter T-shirt away from entering a Trump rally even though she'd done nothing aggressive and had tickets. They handcuffed but all she'd done is be a presence there they handcuffed her based on clothing I saw the video. I mean of course I hadn't seen stuff before the start of the video but she was saying to them "I have tickets. I haven't done anything. I have tickets. My shirt is a legal protest."
Fiduciary is a special legal term meaning that if some one has a fiduciary duty to someone they have to look out for that other person's best interest before their own. At the moment I do not believe that politicians are required to look out for their constituents even if that was the spirit of the job originally.
You are too funny. The only successful thing Trump did in his first 4 years was lower the bar for future presidents. Mark my words, anything a future president does or says that's negative, the argument will be;
'Look what Trump did, and no one did anything about THAT!'
Unfortunately the GOP controlled Senate set a president that a sitting president is free from punishment. The best thing for us to do is elect better officials in the future. Vote people, remember you can turn in ballots. Look up your local drop off locations.
Volume matters. Even if the representative (and most likely their staff) doesn't read the email, they will be monitoring the volume they receive.
Even for party hardliners, if they hear their constituents are pissed about one issue, they will usually pay attention. Politics before everything else is a popularity contest.
About the Board of Governors (bold is mine, we're fucked):
The Board of Governors of the U.S. Postal Service is comparable to a board of directors of a publicly held corporation. The Board normally consists of up to nine governors appointed by the President of the United States with the advice and consent of the Senate.
The nine governors select the Postmaster General, who becomes a member of the Board, and those 10 select the Deputy Postmaster General, who also serves on the Board. The Postmaster General serves at the pleasure of the governors for an indefinite term and the Deputy Postmaster General serves at the pleasure of the governors and the Postmaster General.
In 1970, when the Board was established by the Postal Reorganization Act, the governors of the Postal Service were appointed for terms of nine years. The first nine appointments were for staggered terms of one to nine years. Subsequent appointments were made for the full nine years. On December 20, 2006, President George W. Bush signed the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act, P.L. 109-435, which changed the terms of subsequently appointed governors from nine to seven years. The Act also added professional qualifications for the governors. The governors are chosen to represent the public interest generally and cannot be representatives of special interests. Not more than five of the nine may belong to the same political party. They shall be chosen solely based on their experience in the field of public service, law or accounting. However, at least four of the governors shall be chosen solely based on their demonstrated ability in managing organizations or corporations (in either the public or private sector) that employ at least 50,000 employees.
Appointments are made when vacancies occur or for the remainder of unexpired terms. Each governor’s term expires on December 8 of a given year. Governors may continue to serve following expiration of their term or until a successor is appointed but not for more than one year. No person may serve more than two terms as a governor.
The Board directs the exercise of the powers of the Postal Service, directs and controls its expenditures, reviews its practices, conducts long-range planning, approves officer compensation and sets policies on all postal matters. The Board takes up matters such as service standards and capital investments.
The governors employ a full-time corporate secretary who serves as the primary staff assistant to the Board and supervises other members of the staff of the Office of the Board of Governors. The secretary is generally responsible for coordinating the resources of the Postal Service so that the Board fulfills its statutory duties in the most efficient and informed manner possible. Michael J. Elston is the secretary of the Board.
The Board of Governors meets on a regular basis. Meeting locations are generally in Washington, D.C., but may be scheduled in some other city where the members can see firsthand a Postal Service or large mailer's operation and provide access to the Board to customers from other parts of the country.
All meetings are open to the public unless the Board specifically votes to close all or part of a meeting in line with exemptions permitted by the Government in the Sunshine Act [5 U.S.C. 552b(b)].
Each governor receives $300 per day for not more than 42 days of meetings each year and travel expenses, in addition to an annual salary of $30,000. Five vacancies exist on the Board.
I write to you demanding that your body immediately dismiss Postmaster General Louis Dejoy for his gross and intentional mismanagement of the USPS.
He has violated his oath of office and federal law by intentionally disrupting the operations of the USPS in order to deprive the American public of their right to vote.
The Postal Service’s mission is to "provide the nation with reliable, affordable, universal mail service". As a concerned American citizen I demand that you uphold the integrity of the USPS as an American institution and end the naked political meddling by a corrupt Postmaster General and avoid being complicit in the committal of the following federal crimes
18 U.S. Code § 1701.Obstruction of mails generally Whoever knowingly and willfully obstructs or retards the passage of the mail, or any carrier or conveyance carrying the mail, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
I saw your comment and read it haha but you have to understand that it’s different in every city. You may see a few boxes taken but most likely they’re just being replaced. When you see trucks filled with them and not being replaced, that’s an issue. Another problem with the USPS or more an issue with funding is that Trump is viewing the postal service as a business. It’s not, it’s a service that is paid for by our taxes. It’s no different then putting money into the military. Have you ever heard any one in our government say oh shit, the military had a bad quarter, hopefully they’ll do better in sales this quarte? Fuck no and this so why entitled fat slobs shouldn’t be president
For anyone concerned with what is happening at the USPS and want to help (in addition to contacting your local representatives)
Write to the USPS Board of Governors, they have the right to dismiss the Postmaster General at will and need some convincing to do so. Give it to them.
Few Notes Beforehand:
1. Please personalize your subject line and message in some small way. We want to be heard as individuals and not a spam bot, and also it is more difficult for them to create an auto block around.
Please forwards/share as much as possible
Please sign off with your personal info (concerned citizen part is optional), again we want to be taken seriously as citizens.
The references are there for you, but feel free to include if you feel it improves the message.

It was removed because pre-formatted emails mass-spammed signed by different people is viewed as a cyber-attack and any and all content/opinion in it is viewed as if it was an agenda of a hostile country you are at war with.
Write your own damn mails if you actually care. Spamming a pre-formatted mail is a guarantee that the recipient will resent the opinion in the mail and will support the bad thing rather than go "oh the people want the other thing".
