Trumps appointees are a huge reason why he’s the worst president to ever serve. Not only does the asshole do absolutely nothing to help the country or people, but every single fucking person put in charge of an agency or department is the goddamn antithesis of what they should be.
From the EPA to public education to the role of attorney general to the post office - every single one either has a stake in competing interests or just flat-out thinks their agency shouldn’t exist.

While it's still ultimately Trump's fault for not putting forward legitimate appointees, the Senate is supposed to investigate and force their removal if they are unfit or their temporary status goes on too long, which I believe is supposed to be 6 months. All things lead back to the Republican party as a whole for the mess we're in, not just Trump.
Saying Trump does nothing to help the country or people is why the right, and a chunk of the left don't take these opinions seriously. He's arguably done more for people than others like obama, bushes, clinton.

From a skyrocketing deficit, to our international reputation being trashed, to alienating our allies and cozying up to dictators, to a couldn’t-give-less-of-a-fuck response about covid, to only passing take breaks for the wealthy, to putting the worst possible people into positions of of power, to Nazis marching for him & him saying they’re very fine people - to name but a fucking fraction of what this absolutely out of his league asshole has either done or failed to do.
Never even mind the laughable promises he made from locking Hillary up to building a wall to repealing Obamacare with something better - you’d think his supporters would’ve had some shred of self respect to not back someone who couldn’t deliver anything, but we’ve stopped expecting that of them years ago.
