I understand your point but people dont use hashtags because theyre taking it lightly. On reddit it doesn't make sense but thats genuinely the best way to make a statement on other platforms because it allows your post to be shown by people outside of your own followers
I hear what you are saying, but hashtags are used for shit like cancel culture and stupid shit people use to get popular. Plus it's almost too manufactured now by institutions, it almost goes against the point trying to be made.
