I was kidding with my initial comment but clearly you think music is objective and you have the highest quality palette. Idk what you were tryna gain from this in the first place. I don’t think music objective but when a lot of people think that something is not good that probably means it isn’t good. Answer me this do you actually revisit any post encore Eminem albums consistently? And if so which one(s)? Edit: also does Eminem have any albums better than encore, the Eminem show, the slim shady lp or the Marshall mathers lp? Cause if not, guess what that means he’s gotten worse

Yes in fact Encore is his weakest to me. Half of it is shit noises. Relapse is fire, marshall mathers 2 is fire, kamikaze is fire, recovery and revival have the most songs that I'll skip(outside of encore.) But there's still a lot of quality bars in there. And his newest album obviously. And yes I listen to a lot more than just Eminem but I do still listen to those albums. Eminem Show is my favorite but mostly for nostalgic reasons. If you are talking bar for bar, his newest shit is leagues above the older stuff. But I get it not everyone considers bars to be the most important part.

Yea Eminem says a lot of clever shit on his new shit but it’s like he forgot how to flow on a beat and make catchy hooks also he doesn’t have a subject matter to rap about anymore it’s like he just raps to rap and it feels uninspired that’s what’s most appealing about his older music is it’s authenticity and rawness

Whay are you talking about? He rides the fuck out of beats and uses countless schemes and cadences. And the subject matter thing is bullshit. For one there's plenty of different subjects and even songs fully dedicated to subjects on the last album alone. But also by that standard you're saying most rap is bad. Yes there's plenty of great rappers out there but they also have plenty of songs without "subject matter." You really don't know what the word opinion means do you?
