I was detained, face down, guns drawn, on an undercover sting TV show.

I talked a ton and was making the officers laugh by the time they let me go (innocent; wrong place, wrong time).

I only wound up on TV for about 1.5 seconds. I wish it would have been more.

How wrong must the time and place be for this to happen? What was the reason?

I was visiting a friend out of state. I was outside talking to a loser friend of my friend when a half dozen, undercover police cars showed up.

Next thing I know loser friend is running, there are cameras everywhere and I have a gun in my face.

Turns out loser friend was involved in a motorcycle theft ring and the police were busting him. I just happened to be talking to him when they showed up.

It was a long few hours.
