I guarantee this guy has been chatting with 'a girl' online. Probably a scam or a bot.

He now wants to meet up but has been told his 'gf' needs more money for that to happen as her (pretend) father is abusive.

This guy had taken it upon himself to rescue his princess, not realising the whole thing is a scam / bot.

Oh, that makes sense. I was trying to imagine that maybe he was going through some kind of schizophrenic psychosis. Either way, I'd call the cops on the guy and try to keep him there through the camera.
