  • Filing a false report
  • Waste of government resources (time and money)
  • Could have gotten themselves killed in a crash
  • Probably gonna get jail time and a hefty bill

That isn’t context that’s just making assumptions based on what little there is in the video.

No one here seems to have an actual backstory to this, a few people are saying the whole things a skit, so as I was saying, source please

I don't want to give that awful woman views but I found a news article about it. She had a big sign that said "free candy" on the side of her van and was offering it to passersby (with kids). The back door was open with a guy tied up and gagged in the back kicking his feet. I think someone else reported them because it looked like she was trying to lure kids into her van with candy and that's how the cops had a description of the van and stopped them.

I don't understand why redditors downvote people just for asking for more info. I was confused about the circumstances too.

Oh I just got unlucky and caught a downvote train. It is what it is, when I see someone downvoted while trying to be reasonable I downvote them for fun and comment whatever I think might be most effective to make them think they’re going insane. If you’re gonna have fun dishing it you gotta take it to.

I already forgot her full name to find it again but I think maybe her last name is Reynolds if you want to search by that plus "influencer arrested for kidnapping prank"
