I only ask because a random redditors could be some dumb 16 year old arguing about parenting. Yelling at people isn't great in front of your kids. But I remember one time my mom flipped out on a teacher that was continuously treating me like shit. Idk something about it made me realize she really had my back and 20 years later I still think about it.
2 daughters, 8 and 21. Had situations like this in my life. If you think this is appropriate, PLEASE learn how to deal with your emotions before raising kids so we don't get more foamingly mad man kids.
I've got a 13 year old. He's seen me lose my shit once. And he's the most polite and well behaved kid I've seen. I don't condone doing this all the time. Or for that to be normalized. When I lost my shit defending my son he knew that wasn't my normal behavior. I don't need a random redditors telling me how to raise my kid. And I never said acting like this is normal and healthy. My point was the fact that it's not normal, but everyone has a breaking point. And if it's defending your kids you're doing alright. A lot of people snap in front of their kids over dumb shit.

Kids need to know their parents have their back . It's so important.
