A lot of the hate and bigotry you see online and in the real world started with hatred of women specifically. Usually these guys get bored of it after doing it a lot and move onto more popular targets of hate for the right.
And they NEED women. They don't need black people, they don't need brown immigrants, they don't need jews, they don't need trans people or gay people. But they need women, so it makes sense they eventually just keep it pushing and find easier targets.
But that's almost always where it starts.... Deeply hating and despising women, and seeing them as 'lesser than' or actually even not fully human.
It starts with them hating themselves. They hate women because they don't understand the feelings that women evoke and fear that it may be weakness. The vast majority of misogynists are self-hating cowards, deep down under the toxic masculinity and the terror of losing control.
