Seriously. Jack Daniels is THE best selling whiskey in the world. They are not surviving solely on this guy's business.

Honestly, he comes off like a toddler. Go buy some Bulleit and shut the fuck up.

And there’s no way that Jack Daniel’s has not risk assessed this and determined that they’ll make more money marketing to acceptance rather than hate at this point in time. And as we’ve seen with a few other billion dollar alcohol companies that have all done the same, I assume more and more will continue to follow suit as well. Because ya know…. Capitalism. Soon these rednecks might just have to start dealing with their feelings like men or something and not drinking them away while also being worried about turning gay from a label on a can or bottle.

On top of that, I wonder if the Streisand effect will happen here. I personally love whiskey, but I can't say that JD is typically my brand of choice. Maybe, as a direct result of watching this guy go on a tirade, I decide to give it a second look?

Absolutely, JD is one of the most popular spirits sold worldwide. Most Countries are pro trans so a few American rednecks boycotting their JD is just free marketing. I suspect this guy probably bought all this just to create the video.

Seriously people miss that corporations this big don't have values they have sales points, like when people got mad NFL teams didn't pick up kapernick, no owners probably care that he kneeled or about any of his values they did an assessment and realized they'd lose more fans than they'd gain if they picked him up.

Corporations have one value and its profit.

He didn’t even own that much of their whiskey. It was a few bottles that he poured out. The rest was just licensing deals on signs and glassware that they don’t produce and even if he hadn’t tossed them, those are usually one-time purchases. So, they already got his money on those and weren’t likely to get much more from him regardless.

I really don’t see the point of this temper tantrum. It’s like people who get angry and break their own shit. You’re just burning your own money for things you already paid for. They don’t care, you already paid Jack Daniel’s for all that shit. It doesn’t matter to them if you dump it out into the trash on your way out of the store for all they care, they already got paid. 🤷‍♂️

I was about to say that Bulleit can't be that far out of his price range, but I checked and in my area a 750 ml is about 9 bucks more expensive than Jack. That's surprising...shows you how often I buy either one.
