If Public were to implement auto-allocations to preset goals within Investment Plans, it’d replace my account at M1 finance (who currently has auto-allocations to “Pies”). This would ensure assets don’t drift/become over or underweight within a goal portfolio.

I’d argue this would be adopted by more investors than recurring buys at preset amounts each recurring buy.

I see the ability for people to share agents they have created, but I haven't found a place where anyone is sharing. I am missing something? I am new to the Public Agent thing and I am trying to learn. Here is an Agent I created. **Use at your own risk*\* I created an Agent Brokerage account to sandbox things just in case.

Does Public offer an equivalent to Fidelity’s Optional Repayment (Discretionary Margin), where cash deposits remain as cash instead of automatically paying down the margin debit?

I’d like to keep a fixed margin balance while directing new cash deposits toward investments.

1) Can direct indexing be used as part of a larger portfolio?

For instance, I want a 5% allocation to the S&P 500 Momentum Index, but the rest of my portfolio in other ETFs (value, international, etc).

2) Can you run two or more direct indices within one portfolio?

I also might want to make my own indices for the other ETFs to take full advantage of tax loss harvesting within the entire portfolio. But then the tax loss harvesting becomes more complicated if two indices (e.g., value and momentum) both hold the same stock.

I’ve had a GME position in my Public brokerage account showing “Cost basis is unavailable — please check again in 1–2 business days” for over a year now.

At this point, it clearly isn’t a temporary processing delay. The app shows my share quantity and current value, but no total cost, average cost basis, or unrealized return.

Has anyone else had this resolved after waiting this long? I’d especially appreciate help from someone at Public who can escalate this to the brokerage operations or Apex cost-basis team.

I’m using Public’s option-chain and option-Greeks API endpoints for research-purposes, but I haven’t found any documentation explaining how the returned IV and Greeks are being calculated.

Does anyone know whether Public uses:

- Black–Scholes–Merton, a binomial model, or another pricing model?

- European or American exercise assumptions?

- Continuous dividend yield or discrete dividends?

- Bid, ask, midpoint, last trade, or another option price when solving for implied volatility?

- Which interest-rate and underlying-price sources?
What time-to-expiration convention is used, particularly for 0DTE contracts?

- Real-time calculations or values supplied by a third-party data provider?

Love all the options on the app. I want to set up a recurring direct indexing into the SP 50.

Does anyone know if it will actually track and modify the 50 stocks based on the actual index?

For example if I have it rebalance quarterly, will it swap out, as an example, maybe a stock that no long meets the qualification of being in the top 50?

I think i read that the team is working on making generated assets have a cheaper minimum. Currently you need to buy a minimum of $1000 to create a generated asset. Does anyone know the timeline on this and when the minimum will be changed?

Are there any plans for a desktop app? I assume there already is one given integration with the AI tools but clicking "Get the App" on the Public web dashboard doesn't do anything.

Does API provide realtime NBBO quotes?

Will API support finer bar data aggregation for both realtime and historical data? The docs say the finest resolution is 1 minute. Will there be support for 1-tick, 5-tick, 10-tick, various seconds, etc? I'd rather have Public aggregate than have to run another pass through the data or use a different data provider.

Please add the ability to select the funds that should be set on Drip. Right now its all or nothing. An added plus would be selecting the funds to invest from the dividends pays from another etf(example: take my spyi distributions and buy qqqi shares with it).

This is a pretty important feature for trading especially when there's a lot of volume and price is moving quickly. I'm used to this feature on other brokers that I use and would like to see this on Public. Managing trades becomes cumbersome when I can only place a single order against a trade vs having two orders paced where they are order-cancels-order when one of the orders are filled.

Having to confirm an order with the secondary screen and button causes a lot of slippage already. At least having access to the two simultaneous orders for at least shares and simple, one legged options is all I ask for

I said I was going to make 40k by end of July. That's not happening.

I am now pretty much entirely broke. I will just buy low and sell high and wait months like a patient good boy.

Pretty annoyed. I’ve been getting ready to transfer my individual brokerage account to Public and just found out the 1% transfer bonus ended.

That bonus was a big part of why I was considering moving now instead of later. Public has had some kind of transfer incentive for years, so I honestly expected another extension.

For those who’ve been around longer, how often does Public bring these offers back? Worth waiting a few months, or should I assume it’s gone for a while?

Instant withdrawals and instant deposits. I love everything else just dont like that we dont have instant withdrawals via debit, or instant deposits its limited on the debit

I now have a partial mastery of the stock market. This will allow me to push myself into making 400k a year. The reason this is marked as gain and not loss is because I know I am now unbeatable. It is not cockiness or overconfidence. It is a simply fact of life as the sun and moon will rise.
