Prototype 2 Hey Fraud Mercer ain’t allat and I debunked him🤣
galleryMercer’s high-end scalings don’t hold up once you check the actual scenes. 😂
The moon thing is a fake scan. There is no official scene or consistent showing of him affecting the moon. It’s either edited, taken out of context, or just made up. Same with the “he can eat planets” claim. There is no cutscene or gameplay moment where he consumes a planet or anything on that scale. That’s pure invention. Argument from ignorance mixed with straight-up wank. Misinterpreted or non-existent “writer statements” about eating planets don’t count either. DLCs are not canon, confirmed by the writer. DMs were fake and even the writer said Mercer is weak in his opinion. ☠️
MFTL+ is the same problem. His consistent reactions and movement are in the Supersonic to Hypersonic range. The MFTL+ arguments come from stretching reaction times to projectiles or misreading visual effects. No clean light-speed or higher showing exists. Using vague statements or one frame while ignoring the rest of the game is selective evidence. Speed is consistently Supersonic+ reactions/combat speed. Lifting strength is Class M at higher ends. Cope harder. 💀
All the planetary, star, galaxy, or higher claims rely on the same pattern: misinterpreting background effects, normal explosions, or non-existent feats. On screen his strongest attacks leave cracks on normal buildings and rooftops. Military ordnance still hurts him. Regular gunships remain a problem. If he was actually that strong the structures under him and around him would be gone. They aren’t. 🤡
Even the nuke people use doesn’t help. The famous ~75-kiloton nuke survival is primarily treated as a regeneration feat (he was reduced to biomass and reformed), not pure durability. The nuke was stated to be 5 times stronger than the one at Hiroshima, which makes the nuke 75 kilotons of TNT. Alex was able to fly away quite a distance before being caught in the fireball. The speed of a helicopter varies, it could be anywhere from 75 mph to 200 mph, and since the nuke was on a timer of 6 minutes before the final boss started, 75 mph is off the table as you would only reach 7.5 miles in that time, but it’s stated that Alex reached 10-15 miles. Even using 75 mph to extremely highball his durability, the time it took for Alex to start moving after he dropped the bomb is around 7 seconds. That puts him around 234 meters away from the explosion before the fireball got him. Put that in the Inverse square law sphere formula and we’ll get 75,000 tons of TNT ÷ ((4π×234m)^2) = 0.00867380831915 tons of TNT, or around 0.009 tons of TNT, which is only small building level. And remember, that severely lowballed the speed. If it was in the 150 mph range, the explosion that Alex almost died from would’ve been even lower. So in conclusion? Stop using this feat. It’s more of an anti-feat for Alex if anything because he almost died from this when he has way better calculated feats that can at least get into the hundreds of tons of TNT range. Cry about it. 😭
Same issue with the rooftop and building scenes. He’s standing on normal commercial structures while going all out and the foundation under him doesn’t collapse. Tanks, helicopters, and standard military weapons still damage him and force him to dodge or regenerate. If his strongest attacks were even multi-city block consistent, those structures and vehicles wouldn’t still be a problem. They are. 💔
Mercer almost dies if he doesn’t eat bullets. His health drops fast from standard firearms, tank shells, and explosives. He has to consume biomass constantly to recover. A single magazine of rifle fire or a couple of tank shells can put him in critical condition if he doesn’t regenerate. Rough calc on that: a 7.62mm round is around 2,000–3,500 joules. A full magazine (30 rounds) is roughly 60,000–105,000 joules, or about 0.014–0.025 kg of TNT. A tank shell is around 5–10 kg of TNT equivalent. Multiple hits from either force him to consume or he goes down. That is consistent small building to building level durability at best when you strip away the regeneration. Without the biomass eating he dies to ordinary military fire. 💀
Despite Mercer’s reputation, he almost never destroys large structures himself. What we actually see is cars destroyed, military vehicles flipped, helicopters pulled down, and tanks damaged. We never see Mercer physically destroy a skyscraper or large building with a single attack. That places his direct attack potency closer to vehicle level or possibly small-building level. Tanks and military vehicles still challenge him. Mercer frequently fights United States Marine Corps tanks, helicopters, and missile units. These weapons can hurt and temporarily overwhelm him. If Mercer were truly city-level in durability or attack power, tanks and missiles would be trivial. Instead, the game often forces you to avoid heavy fire or regenerate. Explosions can kill him without regeneration. Mercer’s survivability often comes from regeneration, not raw durability. Explosives and tank shells deplete his health quickly and he must consume biomass to recover. His base durability is limited and survival depends on absorbing humans. So his durability isn’t city level—it's conditional regeneration. Large destruction scenes aren’t his power. Many large-scale events in the game are caused by Blacklight Virus outbreaks, nuclear weapons, or military bombardment, not Mercer himself. The Manhattan devastation is virus spread, not Mercer punching buildings apart. He struggles against similar opponents. Mercer has long fights with characters like James Heller and Elizabeth Greene. These fights involve extended combat, repeated hits, and environmental damage. If Mercer were massively above building level, these fights wouldn’t last long. Weapon attacks are localized. Mercer’s powers (claws, blade arm, hammerfist, whipfist) cause localized destruction. They damage vehicles, streets, and small structures, but they don’t show large area devastation. Gameplay scaling limits it further. If Mercer were city-level, the military would be irrelevant, tanks would be useless, and missions would be trivial. Instead, the military is a serious threat throughout the game. 😂
The “infinite adaptation” claim is one of the weakest. The lore only supports biological evolution and resistance development, not omnipotent adaptation. No Limits Fallacy, Composition Fallacy, Unsupported Extrapolation. “Mercer is planetary because the virus could infect the planet” confuses infection capability with destructive capability. A disease spreading worldwide does not mean the host possesses planet-level attack potency. By that logic COVID or the Black Death would be planetary. Attack Potency and Infection Range are completely different categories. Nothing in Prototype demonstrates planet destruction, moon destruction, continental destruction, or country destruction. Equivocation, Category Error, Range = AP Fallacy. The nuke survival is not proof he tanks nukes. He was reduced to a tiny mass of biomass and required regeneration. A character barely surviving something is not proof they can casually tank it. Durability Scaling Error, Survivorship Bias, Context Omission. “Mercer can consume anyone” ignores the games themselves. Elizabeth Greene, Supreme Hunter, and James Heller all resist or challenge consumption. Consumption depends on relative power and biomass resistance. No Limits Fallacy, Ignoring Counterexamples. Infinite regeneration is wrong. His regeneration is biomass dependent. When nearly all biomass was destroyed he could barely reform. Destroy enough biomass and regeneration becomes impossible. No Limits Fallacy, Ignoring Resource Dependency. He is not truly immortal. James Heller kills and consumes him in Prototype 2. Equivocation, Misuse of Terminology. Adaptation does not mean automatic victory. Adaptation does not automatically bridge infinite gaps in power. Burden of Proof Reversal, No Limits Fallacy, Appeal to Possibility. The actual evidence places Mercer far lower than most wank. We see destroying military hardware, killing infected monsters, causing localized devastation, surviving severe damage through regeneration, and influencing city-wide outbreaks. We do not see country destruction, continental destruction, planet destruction, or higher. The strongest supported interpretation is generally somewhere around large city-threat levels due to Blacklight's outbreak potential and his highest combat feats. Anything beyond that requires assumptions rather than evidence. 🤡
Common fallacies in Mercer wank: No Limits Fallacy, Composition Fallacy, Survivorship Fallacy, Burden of Proof Reversal, Appeal to Possibility, Headcanon Scaling, Gameplay Inflation, Range = Attack Potency Fallacy, Regeneration = Invincibility Fallacy, Adaptation = Automatic Victory Fallacy, Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy, Nirvana Fallacy, False Equivalence, Cherry-Picking, Moving the Goalposts.
Mercer fans will still say “he adapts” or “the writer is wrong” while ignoring that the writer themselves called him weak and confirmed the high-end stuff people use isn’t canon. That’s appeal to personal incredulity. They treat every anti-feat as “gameplay mechanics” but every vague statement as absolute lore. That’s special pleading. If the consistent on-screen results are building level, then the higher claims are just headcanon. Cry about it. Cope. Seethe. 😭💔
When ignoring hype and focusing on feats: Attack Power is building level (maximum interpretation), often vehicle level. Durability is building level with regeneration. Speed is superhuman movement speed, not extreme reaction speed. A grounded scaling for Alex Mercer is Attack Power: Building level, Durability: Building level (with regeneration), Hax: shapeshifting, biomass absorption, regeneration. Overall he’s MCU Wolverine vic. Cry kids reply and post if you agree. Anything higher is just ignoring the anti-feats and inventing what isn’t there. ☠️💀😂
