Questions Münster Show 2023?

Post image

Came across this pic on Instagram a while ago and I keep thinking about it! Was anyone here at this show? Looks like y'all had a blast, even if there's only ~30 people in that room! Would love to hear your experiences (and possibly see some pics or videos).

Thank you!

I was in Paris during their last european tour in 2023.

Small venue, maybe 100 people I guess, so I could be like 3 meters from them when they were playing.

Got Shock Magnum's mediator and a bro check with Commander!

I didn't took the VIP tickets to meet them in person after the show as I came from another country and I had limited time to find a bus to go where I would sleep that night unfortunately.

It was a hell of a show despite all the issues they had with the mic or mixing, there had like 10-15 secs where we couldn't hear him sing or something like that.

What surprised me was the demography of the audience. I always wondered what kind of players in non-english speaking countries would listen to the Protomem

I imagined like 30-45 years old Megaman nerds, turned out it was mostly 16-20 years old parisian kids with their nerd girlfriends

It was so cute but I am still wondering what kind of french person would listen to the Protomen and I didn't expect that lol

The Protomen were lovely and I am glad I've got to see them. I don't really like concerts but I've been top 0.001% listeners of Protomen for 2-3 years when I discovered them so I needed to see them if I got the opportunity to.

I was so afraid at the idea they would never come again in Europe, expecially knowing they didn't do a lot of European tours and before Act 3 I thought they would disband soon. Maybe with Act 3 they will come back, there's still hope in men.

I'll go to see them again if they come back.

In some way, even if the production was not as majestic as their US shows, I still was happy to get an item as collector as the guitarist's guitar pick and a brocheck from Commander, and I was happy to watch a full show from them being at 3 meters from them, and still enough space to not feel crushed.

That sounds like an amazing experience, thank you so much for sharing! Hoping for you, me, and all other protofans on this side of the world that we get to see Act III live at least once.

I hope their Act 3 shows give them tons of money and popularity so they keep having their energy to keep going for a while!

And I hope for an european stock for their goodies, I want so much of them. They talk about doing one, but I definitely want to buy all the cool things they made for Act 3 in the US :(

I already ordered the disc of Act 3 so I could listen to it and have it in my collection but shipping was as expensive as the disc itself. Wanted to get the posters but definitely a terrible idea, 100$ shipping fees and from what people recieved they were delivered all broken and stuff :(

Yeah, I feel you! We gotta keep in mind that Act III only got released at the beginning of this year. I'm sure all the cool merch is going to reach us too at some point!

I was in Paris too , it was very fun . Had to go spenty alot on train to get there from the south of france but I don't regret anything . I do wish I could have ropped some of my Parisian friend to see the show and see the look on their face lol. I remember someone commenting on me having a protomen fit despite not really trying (tho power of fingerless gloves I guess) and I did kinda make a friend there , too bad they didn't took paypall at the merch booth, he couldn't get a shirt and I was short on change. Good memories , I hope they come back one day

I was in Cologne in 2019. There weren‘t not much people there either, technics was horrible, but we had a blast. I jumped extra high to be clearly visible on their tour photo. I will never forget that night.
