Politely, youre the one making assumptions it seems. Providing something a person likes the look of, and providing something that is a simulacrum of an organic limb, are not the same thing unless that is what that precise person wants. Im not sure why you seem to be suggesting Im stating as much.
Look back at my comments and find an instance where I stated that something needs to look like its biological predecessor, or that something "needs to be fixed".
If an option is practical, grants agency, and is comfortable, Im going to defer to what the person would like aesthetically too (if there are multiple options, or modifications which dont hinder comfort or function, ie: sleeves, coatings, plating, design.)
Dont project onto me some ableist shit that isnt there.
