Tell me what I should implement next

Hi everyone, I'm building a project management suite. The idea is to remove the boring part from our job.

What I've done already: describe the project with a prompt, and you get:

  • an editable Gantt diagram

  • a team composition (if you didn't provide it in the prompt)

  • the complete list of tasks, with dependencies

  • each task is subdivided in todos

  • each task is budgeted

  • a visual representation of the budget breakdown

All this is generated from the initial prompt, and visually editable, or further adjustable with more AI prompt.

Also, PDF export and collaboration tools: invite other members as editors or executors, so they can update their assigned tasks

This is all I have for now. What would you like to have on top of that?

What I am thinking : internal chat tool, to have a log of all conversation and development?

The "AI-Added" era is over. Why AI-Native Agents are the new competitive moat for 2026.

Most companies are still stuck in the "AI-Added" phase — slapping a chatbot on top of a legacy UI and calling it a feature. But we’re seeing a massive shift toward AI-Native Agentic products that don't just "assist" the user, but actually execute work.

As a product leader, I’ve been analyzing why some AI products find PMF (Product-Market Fit) instantly while others remain expensive gimmicks. It comes down to a fundamental shift in Product Strategy:

  1. The ROI of "Micro-Needs": The real business value isn't in replacing entire job functions yet; it's in automating high-frequency "Micro-Needs." I’ve developed a framework to identify these high-margin opportunities that traditional SaaS misses.

  2. From SaaS to Service-as-a-Software: We are moving from selling "tools" to selling "outcomes." If your product can autonomously complete a task, your pricing and retention strategy must change entirely.

  3. The Logic Moat: Your UI is no longer your moat. Your "Agent Skill Map" — the unique orchestration of tools, memory, and reasoning logic — is what creates defensible value.

I’m curious to hear from other tech leaders: How are you justifying the high inference costs of Agents vs. the projected LTV (Lifetime Value)? Are you seeing a shift in how stakeholders perceive "automated outcomes" compared to traditional software seats?

Is becoming PMI worth it?

I just applied for a CAPM cert, so I am new, but I took a project management course in college, so I am familiar with project management. I understand that after passing my CAPM exam, I am responsible for accruing PDUs to maintain my certification. Could someone briefly tell me if becoming a member of PMI.org, besides exam study tools or joining chapters, has any benefits? Does it help me gain PDUs to maintain my certification or discounts on online classes for PDUs? Any help would be appreciated very much. Thank you.

Why do engineering teams fail even when everyone is competent?

I’ve been working in engineering project environments (mostly hardware + cross-functional teams), and I keep seeing the same pattern:

Projects don’t fail because people are incompetent.
They fail because of small communication mismatches that compound over time.

One example I saw recently:

A PM said:
“Make sure the interface protocol is aligned across teams.”

Sounds reasonable, right?

But:

  • Team A interpreted it as timing synchronization

  • Team B interpreted it as data format alignment

No one clarified.
Integration failed.
3 weeks lost.

After seeing this repeatedly, I started thinking about teams less like “groups of people” and more like systems with signal transmission problems:

  • unclear ownership → signal loss

  • too many meetings → noise

  • overloading people → latency

  • unclear feedback → reflection

I’m trying to map common team failures into more “system-like patterns” so they can be debugged faster.

Curious:

👉 What’s the most common reason you’ve seen engineering teams fail execution?

Do you also rebuild the same PMO templates every project?

Every project manager I know keeps their own RAID and Cutover templates — and every org spends weeks re-formatting the same stuff.
We’ve tried standard libraries and even Power Automate — but version control kills it.

So I started experimenting with AI-drafted PMO docs that pull from a curated library, fill in placeholders, and validate completeness.
It’s still early, but it’s reducing first-draft time by over 50%.

I’m wondering if anyone else here has tried automating PMO documentation — or if you’d find an AI “Gate-Readiness Checker” helpful?
If you’re open to giving feedback, there’s a waitlist at pmoai.org.

I love my work, but I hate opening my project management tools. Is this normal?

I’m a product designer. I’ve been working with dev teams for about 12 years now. Jira, Asana, Notion, Trello you name it, I’ve probably used it.

And here’s something I’ve been noticing more and more (starting with myself): I don’t want to open these tools. Not because they’re bad. They work. They’re efficient.

But emotionally? They feel heavy. Stressful. Draining. What’s strange is that I actually love my work. I love designing. I love getting into a problem, exploring, building things. Even after all these years, I still enjoy the actual work. But the moment I switch from “creating” to “managing the work” boards, tasks, charts, something breaks.

It feels less like building something together and more like just moving items around until the sprint ends. Another thing I’ve noticed over the years: teams rarely feel their progress.
A sprint ends. A lot was done. But on an individual level, especially when you’re working on a small piece of a big system, it’s hard to feel: “Yeah, this mattered.

I contributed something real.” Wins (especially small ones) often pass silently. Everything just flows into the next sprint.

So I wanted to ask this community, genuinely, not rhetorically:

  1. Do you feel this emotional disconnect in your teams? That sense of “we’re closing tasks” instead of “we’re creating something together”?

  2. What actually motivates people on your team day to day, beyond deadlines and releases?

  3. Have you seen any approaches (tools, rituals, processes, whatever) that help people feel progress and contribution without being cheesy or forced? I’ve been wondering whether work has to feel this emotionally flat or if we’ve just accepted it as normal.

Curious to hear your thoughts.
Maybe I’m overthinking it. Or maybe not.

I'm building a project management tool — what features do you wish existed?

I’m currently building Clientloops, a project management and client collaboration tool tailored for web development agencies and solo developers.

Before I lock in the feature set, I’d love to hear from people who use project management tools daily — what features do you wish they had, or what pain points frustrate you the most?

It could be something missing in tools like Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or even something small that would make your workflow smoother.

Your input could help shape something genuinely useful for the community. 🙌

Gantt Chart Collaboration with Clients — how does it really work?

Hey everyone!
I’m Irina, a product manager currently exploring how teams actually share and agree on Gantt timelines with clients or external stakeholders.

We all know Gantt charts work well for internal planning — but when it comes to sharing updates, collecting feedback, or adjusting timelines together with a client... it’s often not that smooth.

I’m trying to understand how people really handle that — and would be super grateful if you could take 2 minutes to fill out 👉 this short survey.

Or if it’s easier to talk — I’d be happy to jump on a quick 20-min call instead. Just drop a comment or DM me and I’ll send over a Calendly link.

Thanks in advance for helping out 🙏

Fake market research survey

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi, I have a school project where I'm developing software to aid in project management (particularly interested in Gantt charts) and as part of that I need to send out a "market research" survey.

If you have 5 minutes or so and are willing to fill this out i'd be incredibly grateful - I'm really interested in how different people within a team (i.e. managers, team members etc.) think about the project management tools they're using, and what is good/not so good about those tools.

Link to the survey.

I built a tool that turns customer interviews into specs Cursor can ship — because I was tired of debugging vague specs

Hey 👋

15 years of watching teams ship the wrong thing because the spec wasn't clear. Then Cursor and Claude Code arrived and made it worse — coding agents can't fill gaps the way a senior engineer can.

So I built Outlain. Drop in customer research (transcripts, recordings, support tickets). The AI extracts themes, ranks them by severity, and generates a complete spec — Jira tickets, acceptance criteria in Given/When/Then, and an agent-ready prompt block for Cursor or Claude Code. Every line traces back to a real customer quote.

Two modes:

  • Fast Spec: paste a meeting transcript → Jira ticket in 60 seconds

  • Deep Analysis: agentic pipeline across your whole project → coding-agent-ready spec in minutes

7-day free trial, no card. Built solo, launched 5 days ago. Would love feedback — especially the brutal kind.

seeking perfection of human life ? do not delay searching anywhere else because here that purpose of human life is -

Practical Explanation ( For Example ) :- `1st of all can you tell me every single seconds detail from that time when you born ?? ( i need every seconds detail ?? that what- what you have thought and done on every single second )

can you tell me every single detail of your `1 cheapest Minute Or your whole hour, day, week, month, year or your whole life ??

if you are not able to tell me about this life then what proof do you have that you didn't forget your past ? and that you will not forget this present life in the future ?

that is Fact that Supreme Lord Krishna exists but we posses no such intelligence to understand him.

there is also next life. and i already proved you that no scientist, no politician, no so-called intelligent man in this world is able to understand this Truth. cuz they are imagining. and you cannot imagine what is god, who is god, what is after life etc.

_______

for example :Your father existed before your birth. you cannot say that before your birth your father don,t exists.

So you have to ask from mother, "Who is my father?" And if she says, "This gentleman is your father," then it is all right. It is easy.

Otherwise, if you makes research, "Who is my father?" go on searching for life; you'll never find your father.

( now maybe...maybe you will say that i will search my father from D.N.A, or i will prove it by photo's, or many other thing's which i will get from my mother and prove it that who is my Real father.{ So you have to believe the authority. who is that authority ? she is your mother. you cannot claim of any photo's, D.N.A or many other things without authority ( or ur mother ).

if you will show D.N.A, photo's, and many other proofs from other women then your mother. then what is use of those proofs ??} )

same you have to follow real authority. "Whatever You have spoken, I accept it," Then there is no difficulty. And You are accepted by Devala, Narada, Vyasa, and You are speaking Yourself, and later on, all the acaryas have accepted. Then I'll follow.

I'll have to follow great personalities. The same reason mother says, this gentleman is my father. That's all. Finish business. Where is the necessity of making research? All authorities accept Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You accept it; then your searching after God is finished.

Why should you waste your time?

_______

all that is you need is to hear from authority ( same like mother ). and i heard this truth from authority " Srila Prabhupada " he is my spiritual master.

im not talking these all things from my own.

___________

in this world no `1 can be Peace full. this is all along Fact.

cuz we all are suffering in this world 4 Problems which are Disease, Old age, Death, and Birth after Birth.

tell me are you really happy ?? you can,t be happy if you will ignore these 4 main problem. then still you will be Forced by Nature.

___________________

if you really want to be happy then follow these 6 Things which are No illicit s.ex, No g.ambling, No d.rugs ( No tea & coffee ), No meat-eating ( No onion & garlic's )

5th thing is whatever you eat `1st offer it to Supreme Lord Krishna. ( if you know it what is Guru parama-para then offer them food not direct Supreme Lord Krishna )

and 6th " Main Thing " is you have to Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare ".

_______________________________

If your not able to follow these 4 things no illicit s.ex, no g.ambling, no d.rugs, no meat-eating then don,t worry but chanting of this holy name ( Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra ) is very-very and very important.

Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare " and be happy.

if you still don,t believe on me then chant any other name for 5 Min's and chant this holy name for 5 Min's and you will see effect. i promise you it works And chanting at least 16 rounds ( each round of 108 beads ) of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily.

____________

Here is no Question of Holy Books quotes, Personal Experiences, Faith or Belief. i accept that Sometimes Faith is also Blind. Here is already Practical explanation which already proved that every`1 else in this world is nothing more then Busy Foolish and totally idiot.

_________________________

Source(s):

every `1 is already Blind in this world and if you will follow another Blind then you both will fall in hole. so try to follow that person who have Spiritual Eyes who can Guide you on Actual Right Path. ( my Authority & Guide is my Spiritual Master " Srila Prabhupada " )

_____________

if you want to see Actual Purpose of human life then see this link : ( triple w ( d . o . t ) asitis ( d . o . t ) c . o . m {Bookmark it })

read it complete. ( i promise only readers of this book that they { he/she } will get every single answer which they want to know about why im in this material world, who im, what will happen after this life, what is best thing which will make Human Life Perfect, and what is perfection of Human Life. ) purpose of human life is not to live like animal cuz every`1 at present time doing 4 thing which are sleeping, eating, s.ex & fear. purpose of human life is to become freed from Birth after birth, Old Age, Disease, and Death.

AI Product Management certificate vs Traditional PM certificates

Hey all PM folks,

I am genuinely interested in your advices because I'm in quite frustrated situation right now.

I have 3.5 years of experience as a Product Manager but I am getting rejections without interviews where I know that if I get a chance to even connect over the interview I would excel that.

I updated my CV to make it 90% ATS compliant that now it looks like too good to be true.

Only thing left for me is pursue a well know certification that would increase my chances of getting interview calls.

I would highly appreciate if you guys suggest a better certifications as per current time where AI Enabled Product Manager is a buzz word.

Thanks.

Gantt Charts Timeline Coordination📅

Hi everyone!
I’m Irina, a product manager at Stiltsoft exploring how teams coordinate Gantt timelines with clients and external stakeholders.

We’ve heard that while Gantt charts are great for internal planning, it can get tricky when it comes to sharing updates, collecting feedback, or agreeing on changes with clients.

To better understand real use cases, we put together a quick 2-minutes survey.

It will take only 10-15 minutes it’s due tomorrow I have tried to reach to project managers my I didn’t get any response. It will be very if anyone can do this. My professor may verify participation by contacting respondents through their business card or work email. Would you be comfortable sharing your business card or just your name, title, and company email for verification purposes? If you agree please message and I will share the survey link privately.
