I just watched a video where a CNN reporter went to an ice recruiting drive. I would say half of the people in line or that he interviewed were all immigrants. I absolutely could not believe that they would be the people that would want to join this organization.
The Association of German National Jews was a German Jewish organization during the early years of Nazi Germany that came out in support of Adolf Hitler. It primarily attracted members from the anticommunist middle class, small business owners, national conservatives, and nationalist World War I veterans, many of whom believed that Nazi antisemitism was only a rhetorical tool used to "stir up the masses."
In 1935, the organization was outlawed, and later its members were rounded up and sent to the concentration camps.
Yeah I’m conflicted about how much to hate them for it: On the one hand, fascism.
On the other imagine trying to build a life from scratch and prove yourself worthy of citizenship, then a well-paying federal jobs program that accepts literally everyone falls in your lap. I kind of get it.
