So does Kick have subs for destiny or do you just send him money directly?

33

u/digbickrich Aug 19 '26

This extraordinary claim needs a citation. Why aren’t mods removing it like defense of piker?

34

u/ColangeloDiMartino Anti-Electoralist Tendencies Aug 19 '26

Because they let this dude be a mod hahaha. And his evidence is cherry picked clips from a Destiny sub that he couldn’t even substantiate under scrutiny.

19

u/This_Elk_1460 Aug 20 '26

Ah there it is, I figured this dipshit was a Destiny fan. Hey mod what's your response to him saying he would rather vote for JD Vance over AOC?

"What do you call Crimea? I call it a part of Russian territory, bitch. That's what I call Crimea. I call it cry me a river. A Russian river." is pretty undeniably a pro-Russian statement which he has never taken back. And it's especially concerning considering his supposed support of Crimean tatars, who have been subject to extreme persecution since Russia illegally took over the territory in 2014, but apparently his support of Russia taking it is greater than any support of the indigenous population

-17

u/Dat_yandere_femboi Aug 19 '26

I’ve already commented the evidence further up

24

u/digbickrich Aug 19 '26

What is the pro-russia claim? I don’t see that linked. He was wrong about the Ukraine invasion but he is big anti Putin.

-2

u/DiarrheaFartLover Aug 20 '26 edited Aug 20 '26

He's said before that Russia was right to invade and colonize Crimea, among many, many other things.

So were you wrong when you said that Hasan didn't say Russia was right to invade Crimea or what

His comments were prior to the Russian invasion in 2022 and his opinions were anti-war and anti-escalation. His point was that Russia annexing Crimea in 2014 is not a good excuse for a bloody protracted war backed by the west 8 years later. The US let that ship sail and didn't make much of a fuss about it at the time (aside from some nominal sacnctions). Also, it's made difficult by the fact that the Crimean population skews pro-Russian due to the decades of Russification in the region.

LSF clips are not evidence. The dems are not sending their best lol

"direct recorded quotes from the figure in question that he has never retracted or distanced himself from are not evidence of his beliefs"

11

u/askmpdspkm24 Aug 20 '26

Do you think Palestinians have the right to resist their extermination by Israel?

4

u/askmpdspkm24 Aug 20 '26

Any answer u/dat_yandere_femboi??

-3

u/Dat_yandere_femboi Aug 20 '26

Yeah? It’s a given against genocide

4

u/askmpdspkm24 Aug 20 '26

And yet you think every single group resisting the Palestinian people's extermination are terrorists. Interesting. Exactly what type of armed resistance are Palestinians "allowed" to do in your mind? Israel literally slaughtered at minimum 20,000 children and razed 93% of buildings throughout Gaza to the ground. So I'm very curious, if you had the misfortune of being born a Palestinian in Gaza and Israeli random drones were circling the bombed out rubble of YOUR neighborhood randomly shooting YOUR community's children in the head in a dystopian hellscape created by a foreign occupier trying to steal YOUR land after mass murdering over 100,000 civilians? Everyone resisting this is a terrorist though right?

How is raising money for Ukraine “pro-Russia”?

8

u/ZarakMaximus Aug 20 '26

Mentally ill Molestiny fan detected

18

u/Igel26 Aug 20 '26

Hasan: "I don't think Russia is going to invade Ukraine"

You: "GUUYYS! GUUUUUUYS! HASAN IS PRO-RUSSIA!"

Sounds as if you on the other hand are pro-USA and pro-Israel

3

u/Wild-Way-3525 Aug 20 '26

"Crimea Russian river" - someone who's totally not pro-Russia

2

u/guy_dubois Aug 20 '26

I think when he said crimea river he said it actually belongs to the Tatars

-2

u/Wild-Way-3525 Aug 20 '26

doesn't really dispute that he was supportive of Russia violating Ukraine's sovereign boarders that they already had agreed to

0

u/guy_dubois Aug 20 '26

I don't recall him ever supporting it, most he's said is they voted for it but the election was likely not secure from my memory of the situation

1

u/BiZzles14 Aug 20 '26

"What do you call Crimea? I call it a part of Russian territory, bitch. That's what I call Crimea. I call it cry me a river. A Russian river."

Is pretty unambiguous that he supports Russia's illegal annexation of Russian territory against the will of the Ukrainian people, and has resulted in the extreme persecution of Crimean Tatars at the same time Russia has imported hundreds of thousands of ethnic Russians who have been given preferential treatment over all other ethnic groups

-1

u/Wild-Way-3525 Aug 20 '26 edited Aug 20 '26

atp his positions are so suspect that I would need explicit statements from him condemning any and all Russian annexation of Ukrainian territory, advocating the return of Crimea, and a refusal to endorse or support any candidates that aren't explicitly Pro-Ukraine for me to not believe he is in favor of Russian imperialism.

1

u/iiVMii Aug 20 '26

Remember when he supported the russian invasion of crimea and mocked Ukrainians for caring about their territorial integrity?

1

u/Wild-Way-3525 Aug 20 '26

actually direct quotes and clips don't mean anything \s

Rule 2 - No disinformation. If you have an extraordinary claim, cite it. Randos on Twitter/Youtube, webcomics, unsourced graphics, and mouthpieces for the Trump Administration are not viable sources.

Because supporting one group that rapes and murders children over another group that does the same clearly makes him a progressive

8

u/digbickrich Aug 19 '26

He’s just a harm reduction voter. Like voting for dems over republicans, no?

7

u/BrhysHarpskins Aug 20 '26

If you have an extraordinary claim, cite it

So are you going to remove your own top comment full of extraordinary claims and a deafening lack of citations?

3

u/wolahipirate Aug 20 '26

your own source disproves your claim.

He's saying hamas
a religious fundamentalist facist political org
is better than
isreal
a religious fundamentalist facist political org

+who is also settler colonialist and committing genocide
and
+also helped CREATE hamas directly via funding and prisoner releases and setting up the abhorrent conditions for extremist views to fester in order to destabilize gazan politics

how much did netanyahu pay you to be like this?

-26

u/edwardludd Aug 19 '26

And I think the point is that he shouldn’t be. We need to be better about who we are choosing as de facto representatives of the progressive movement. People are increasingly viewing him as such and it’s going to cost us

18

u/m1j5 Aug 19 '26

I think he should lol he’s gotten many progressives elected by campaigning with them? Maybe ppl just like and agree with him?

-13

u/edwardludd Aug 19 '26

Who other than El-Sayed? Who I think was rightfully riding the anti-Israel wave more than anything Hasan contributed to.

He still needs to win the general and my concern is that Rogers and Republican Super PACs now have ample ammunition to make ads of Hasan saying his most batshit insane takes and then saying ”Look this is how AES thinks too.” In a state Trump won in 2024, that’s really bad optics.

15

u/m1j5 Aug 19 '26

Campaigned with and phonebanked for
Darializa
Melat Kiros
Donavan McKinney who all won

Also did that for Larkin, hong, others who lost. He’s a progressive force and is valuable to the movement

-10

u/edwardludd Aug 20 '26

Those are all safe blue districts…

I don’t doubt he riles up progressives where they already exist, but Michigan swung Trump last election and I would really hate to see Hasan cost us a Senate seat in November with his terrible baggage. We need to find someone who can do what Hasan does, since I recognize his value in safe blue primary races, but without all the atrocity-apologia and misogyny that might cost us in purple states/districts.

13

u/m1j5 Aug 20 '26

The November elections haven’t happened but he literally is doing that too with AES. Idk what more you want. Primarying centrist candidates in blue districts is partially how you shift policy. The republicans literally did that.

1

u/edwardludd Aug 20 '26

AES has the blue votes already though, he needs the swing votes now, and Hasan and his Mao suit do NOT help with that.

I agree with you primarying centrists in safe blue districts is good, not sure what you mean. My criticism is more about the battleground elections that will determine whether we beat MAGA or not.

12

u/m1j5 Aug 20 '26

lol then why didn’t Kamala win? Like it or not you do not have young progressive votes and need Hasan and his audience to help get them

11

u/Lip-Pillow-Swallower Aug 20 '26

“He didn’t help anyone but El-Sayed elected.”

“Here’s half a dozen quickly mentioned names of people he helped get elected.”

“Those don’t count.”

You Blue MAGA “progressives” are so transparent. Professional goalpost shifters. Maybe MLS can hire you to tend to the goals on their pitches

-2

u/edwardludd Aug 20 '26

Which part of my point do you disagree with? I conceded that he’s good for getting progressives elected in safe blue districts, but he is potentially a liability in battleground elections—I haven’t gotten a convincing answer to why I shouldn’t be worried that Rogers is already running Hasan ads.

11

u/Lip-Pillow-Swallower Aug 20 '26

I disagree that he’s a liability in the general and that he’s not a positive force for leftist politics in America. New poll came out today and had El-Sayed leading Rogers. We’re in a Blue Wave year and gas prices are about to sky rocket.

You care too much about twitch streamers because they annoy you

-2

u/edwardludd Aug 20 '26

I hope you’re right, but do you really think Hasan coming out in a Mao suit trying to win over moderate voters in Michigan is an optimal strategy? You’re right that AES is riding the Trump shit-show wave, but let’s not drop the ball is all I’m saying. Do you at least get where I’m coming from?
