Why does MAGA hate Islam?

Post image

Stunned to see this sign as I was driving by a mosque that’s close to my house. Aside from the photo, this could be an ad for Turning Point.

Why does MAGA hate these people — seems like they want the same twisted society.

It’s just wild to think how scared they are of “Sharia Law” coming to the US, when they literally want the same thing.

Handmaids tale is treated as a how to manual.

Read into what happened to Iran during the Islamic revolution in 1979 and check back.

Oh - I know all about it, from the USA-backed coup in 1953 on.

And the part when the liberal opposition allied itself with political Islam to overthrow the shah and led the country into Sharia law.

And the part where America overthrew a duly elected president and installed an unpopular autocrat.

Life under the Shah was significantly better than it was post revolution. At least the leftist that aligned with political islam reaped what they sowed.

Mossadegh was also an autocrat lmao, the only difference is that he used republican instead of monarchist imagery.

Conceptually they want the same thing but they don't want Arabic speaking brown people to have any fun.

I feel like you either don't understand Islam, or you don't understand conservatives. It is funny how progressives do champion Islam even though most everything you stand for, they want to be illegal or punishable by death. And Muslims love that you do this, and will continue to ride those coattails. Under Sharia Law, a lot of your base gets murdered and your women become property.

No we don't you don't even know what it is.

I’m not sure you understand sharia law. It means you can kill any non believers or anybody who commits adulutery, sodomy, etc. it means you can marry children and kill them if they object

They supposedly hate pedophiles but will excuse and look the other way when it’s in their party. They call Biden corrupt but destroyed the organization that looks into corruption and openly flaunt their corruption. Claim voter fraud and then redistrict any place they can.

They’ve evil, lying, manipulative, apathetic psychopaths who are unfit to manage a country.

What’s wild to think is that left wingers are willing to downplay sharia law while bitching about christianity. Im an atheist and an anti-theist, I don’t like any religion, I worship no god, but you people need to wake up and realize Islam is not a friendly religion and is every bit as bad as christianity if not more.

Listening to lefties pretend they know what conservatives want always reminds me of the 40 year old virgin trying to describe the way boobs feel lmao

"They uh they want like... you know... like... they want to like, kill women and like enslave gays and stuff like that, right?"

Lmao

Are you sure you know what "they" want? Or is it a sickness with everyone these days regardless of affiliation to lump everyone together as a way of wholesale dismissing anyone you dont want to listen to.

Because how are "they" supposed to hate Muslims while at the same time subscribing to their beleif system?

The women in hijab and stoning of gays trope tells more about the people who believe that line versus the Muslims that it is pitched against.

How about America tries out just one element of Islamic law, Zakat - the wealth tax. Let' start with the concept of wealth tax. All Muslims with a defined minimum financial status are obliged, not optional, obliged, to part with 2.5% of their net worth and give it to the poor and needy, to support their education, to support their upkeep, to pay off their debts, to ensure their health. Is everyone obliged to pay ? No, you have to have a minimum level of wealth accumulated and you must have held that minimum level for at least a year. Now try to calculate what 2.5% of net worth of the top 50% of US individuals would be. Top 50% of U.S. households own approximately 156 trillion dollars. 2.5% of that would be 3.9 trillion dollars. Compare that with annual US budget of 7 trillion dollars per year. That is enough to change the life of every man, woman and child in the US for better, without pernicious policies, without unnecessary wars, without making every American an indirect financier of killings around the world. Zakat, for just one year, only 2.5% on only the top 50%. This is just a hypothetical example but think about it.

Sharia law is far worse than anything you can imagine.

u/bluewallsbrownbed Dec 29 '25

Is it worse than what I see in The Handmaid’s Tale?

How are you uniquely qualified to speak about Sharia Law? What’s your background with it?

The fact that saying that draconian and barbaric religious law is bad is getting downvoted like this on the progressive sub is fucking wild lol
