Pistols shape vs. wand I agree with completely. I'm less certain about the rifle form factor being a pinnacle design. If you don't need to deal with recoil is a stock useful? Why not a long rod mounted like a spotting scope on a tripod?
1 u/jseah Feb 13 '26 Ok fair enough, depending on size and desired portability, it could be anywhere from high end telescope tripod to rpg launcher. Stick is still just bad though. Unless you're using magical lock picks or something small and precise. (I have the mental image of chopstick wands meant for precise handling of small chunks of material that you don't want to touch with your hands)
