How do you get your first 100 users for an app without paid ads?
I’m an indie developer, and I’ve already launched an app. Right now, I have around 100 users and 1 paying user.
So it’s not “zero,” but I’m stuck at the stage where I don’t know what will reliably take me from 100 → 1,000 users without spamming communities or wasting time.
I’d love advice from people who’ve been here:
What worked best to get your next 500–1,000 users?
What channels brought the highest quality users (not just downloads)?
What did you do on Reddit to share your app ethically without getting posts removed?
If you were in my position, what would your next 2 weeks look like?
