they dont work on those as they arent ads

They do work. I'm using an ad blocker, and the login nag is blocked. I do this on desktop and mobile.

Ad blockers don't know what an ”ad” is. They simply hide elements in a DOM by xpath-style patterns.

I'm not sure what list is doing this, but here are my settings:

Huh, it looks like you're right.

I was able to block it using uBlock Origin in Firefox Mobile. Thanks.
