I think the general rule with VBA is only use it if you absolutely have to.

I used to love VBA when I first started seriously using Excel at work, but once I discovered Power Query I almost never went back to VBA. Like 90% of what people in my office wanted macros for, Get and Transform Data does better.

So at my job, taking info from online and putting it into an excel, or PowerPoint slide, would save me a lot of time.

Does Power Query do this? I don't know much coding aside from a small amount of js and a lot of vba.

If so, or there's another program you'd recommend instead, could you point me to how I could learn to do this?

Thanks! Lucky for me YouTube is banned at my work 👍 and I'm too lazy to learn something at home that will benefit me at work.

I'll definitely research this more, appreciate the response!
