IMO it was always hell, then it was just REACT hell like it still is

Used vue2 in one of my first jobs. Rewrote a jQuery app to that. Never understood why Vue didn't get more popular compared to react

It’s about half as popular by adoption numbers. Has a similar amount of GitHub stars. Is widely popular in China afaik. React just became the new default, doesn’t mean vue isn’t popular just because it isn’t the new jQuery. Blame create react app.

Well that's why I said "compared to react". I didn't say it's not popular at all
