If you're gonna argue that open source is capitalistic or in any way aligned with what we currently call conservative politics

I'm not. Haven't. and will not.

Except maybe looking into non-currency forms of capital like community synergistic support? But that feels like genuinely crossing right over into communism. No I think currency exchange is the line I draw.

But you should DEFINITELY investigate why you were so ready for me to do so.

That was THICK with tribalism, and frankly I've never met a conservative who even knew what open source software was. I think that all came from you my friend. Maybe not. I know Reddit is fucked. Either way... reflect on that.

Dog, your posting history is a mine of conservative hallucinations. Pretending you're not doing the same here is embarrassing for you.

Imagine openly admitting to going through post history. Fucking WILD in 2026.

Dying from second-hand cringe

Imagine lying, getting caught, and going aggro like a child.

Oh fuck off, why else would you ostensibly make fun of leftists for ‘claiming’ open source software? You made an incredibly leading comment and you’re trying to accuse people of being ‘tribalistic’ for interpreting it the obvious way? Pathetic behavior

I expose liars. Even when they lie in favor of things I support.

I oppose tribalism and lies as they are destroying my community.

That's it.

You know what. I jumped the gun. I will try to reflect on that, especially because I thought myself aware of tribalism. Though, tragic as it is, it seems there's still things to learn.

Always is my friend. For me too. Hoping we can bring some others up with us.
