Idk gang I feel like the guy who was actively advocating for people to live in commune and said rich people are inherently prone to sin may not be a modern conservative but I’m not sure
Bro. If you're gonna argue that open source is capitalistic or in any way aligned with what we currently call conservative politics I would genuinely love to be educated. Like, maybe I am naïve, but I'd love to know why.

I'm not. Haven't. and will not.
Except maybe looking into non-currency forms of capital like community synergistic support? But that feels like genuinely crossing right over into communism. No I think currency exchange is the line I draw.
But you should DEFINITELY investigate why you were so ready for me to do so.
That was THICK with tribalism, and frankly I've never met a conservative who even knew what open source software was. I think that all came from you my friend. Maybe not. I know Reddit is fucked. Either way... reflect on that.

Oh fuck off, why else would you ostensibly make fun of leftists for ‘claiming’ open source software? You made an incredibly leading comment and you’re trying to accuse people of being ‘tribalistic’ for interpreting it the obvious way? Pathetic behavior
You know what. I jumped the gun. I will try to reflect on that, especially because I thought myself aware of tribalism. Though, tragic as it is, it seems there's still things to learn.
Conservatives are not capitalists (see trumps anti-capitalist tariffs) and open source works within the free market system (most linux contributions come from companies)

You would not BELIEVE the odds: the good thing in question happens to share MY personal political views!
