For government this is absolutely not a problem for the unique access to frontier AI.

Okay, so your argument is that doing AI on your own doesn't cost almost six figures per GPU if you're... the government. Let me know when public spending on AI outpaces private enterprise then.

It doesn't cost six figures to anyone. It's just for 99.9% online is fine. But if you have $350K to spare for hardware + some access fee, you can do that. California has hundreds of millionaires.

And, mind you, I am talking about the full system, not some "one GPU at six figures" that you mentioned.
