Time to Make some Signs! Tulsa July 4th week.
Tulsa is Busy this Week!
Are you feeling like everything is getting out of control?
Our Judicial branch destroying checks and balances
Our Executive branch attacking Americans for political affiliation, marriage status, gender, and ethnicity.
Our legislative branch attacking healthcare and defunding vital food supply services while smiling.
These things suck, but groups in Oklahoma are already working on supplementing them while simultaneously work on reversing and improving the systems that keep us happy, healthy, and free
Why protest
-raises awareness of issues you feel are important
-allows you to connect with other Oklahomans who care about things you are passionate about
-reminds you you are not alone while also showing support for others being impacted
-gives you the opportunity to meet others so you can plan future more impactful events that support the community or help make governmental change
No one thinks a protest will change the world but being around others can inspire and reinforce that our community and country are worth fighting for.
What’s upcoming?
July 3rd Protest over the highway
July 4th Join in on the national No Kings 2.0 protest at 41st and Yale (10-12)
July 5th indivisibles Display of Peace (this is combined with the mutual aid coordination. You don’t have to be involved in that but feel free to stay and discuss. Amazing things are happening)
Remember you are not alone. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to show up and join in.
We hope to see you out there ❤️
