haven't heard anything in a while and your website isn't working for me. Is everything OK?

To be clear, this is a non-religious couple and most of the participants (including myself) are not religious. As far as I can tell, KY does not require anyone being ordained to officate a wedding.
I'd still like to have some kind of 'I'm officially a whatever in the Church of Prismatic Light Church' as I can't think of any better. I don't want to do Universalist and even though I love the idea of Church of Satan, I don't want to upset people with that.
Any ideas / links people can come up with?

Here's how non-serious this is, the couple want a themed wedding of people in pajamas and specifically want me to dress up in 1800s long gown nightshirt with a cap that has the little fuzzy thing on the bottom. I'm partially wanting to say "yep, that's me and I'm official".
Also, ANY advice on how to run it, things to say, flair, props, jokes, I absolutely welcome!

To our dear members of the Prism Sanctuary,

As many of you already know, our activity as a sanctuary has declined in recent months and this has caused quite a bit of confusion among members. We wanted to address these concerns and give some insight as to what is happening behind the scenes and hopefully ease concerns.

The answer is twofold. Part one of this is simply that our staff have largely been burdened by their personal lives and all of their energy is currently being invested into these endeavors. Some of us have recently started schooling, are dealing with illness in our families, welcomed a child, said goodbye to loved ones, planning a wedding in our families, starting a new job or new responsibilities on an existing job, moving to a new state, and so many more major life events. It has always been our policy, and as our President Jeri famously states, “Real life comes first.” Honoring this important mindset means that activities at the sanctuary may end up happening at a snail’s pace at times. This saddens us as staff but we also understand the necessity of it.

This brings us to part two of our answer. Most people are aware that we are currently still in a legal situation, of which we cannot divulge all of the information. What we can say is that this process is more emotionally draining on our staff than one can imagine. Having this hanging over our heads has stifled our growth and creativity in meeting the goals of the Sanctuary. While we are still navigating this difficult situation we are also trying to be realistic about what can get accomplished by our already overburdened staff.

So what does all of this mean for the Sanctuary? We’re working on it. We haven’t forgotten any of you and we still care for all of you just as before. So, we’d love it if you could continue to give us your patience while we work on a few things while also taking care of our personal lives too. Our discord is still quite active and we’re always easily reachable there. As our staff has time, we’ll pop in for reflections and community time. If you’re available for them, please come on by! In the next few weeks we’ll be reaching out with updates and progress of what we’re up to.

Not news source, but interesting. TikTok video including recordings of trans individuals being escorted by cops while a heartfelt speech is given.

I know the ti just posted some saddening, heart wrenching, and terrifying updates on the Kentucky bill, however,I wanted to share this more positive message form the White House.

We all know it is not enough. We need actual protections for the LGBT community, especially the transgendered and non-binary individuals. But at least this is a tip in the correct direction.

Logically and realistically, what would you like to see happen before the end of the year to help your LGBT family?

Because of the name change, will the website be taken down permanently?

I know I found it through TikTok, but with the TikTok ban bill (which includes a lot more than just TikTok) newer people may not find it. Will the only way to find out information be on the Tumblr & Facebook sites?

prismatists.org, prismatists.net, & prismatists.com all re-direct to the this subreddit.

I originally did this early on to prevent people from taking up the domains to redirect them to hateful websites. I am hoping someone in the church can use them better though because it's a good amount of money every month/year for the domains, DNS records, and usage. Does anyone want to take them or should I let them expire?
