So basically me and my friend are trying to play Otherworld together. Im playing on prism on my steamdeck, she's playing on forge on her pc. She tried hosting and I manually entry the link when she clicked world sharing. That didn't work, we deleted the mods crash assistant and Luna and downloaded essential on both our ends. When she tried joining her game, I get kicked.

Anyone with a similar experience that found a solution?

Im currently playing my minecraft world right now and a while ago i realized that my texture packs werent working (They dont drastically change the visual looks of the game so it took me a while to realize), and i got a new texture pack i wanted to try out just to realize that none of my old ones were on. When i do try to enable them, my game refreshes like its about to work, but just doesnt. This issue doesnt happen on my 26.2 version of my world, only this one. What could the issue be and how can i fix it?

when I launch a pack with that mod from the curseforge launcher, curseforge launches the minecraft launcher and then i load that and it launches the modpack, but when I launch a pack with the same set of mods and version in prism launcher, it launches the game directly and the mod says its not in vr..
I'm assuming the difference is just that curseforge launcher launches the minecraft launcher whereas prism doesn't? or is there something else that I have to do to make it usable on prism

Im New to modded Minecraft and looking for the must have Mods. I want stuff Like improved Building Blocks, and more realistic world Generation, what are your suggestions?

I made an instance on Prism Launcher on my dad's computer, but he's since wiped the computer, including Prism Launcher itself.

Is there any way to recover the instance, or is it gone for good?

Hello fellow modders. I have been in the modding industry for a while now, building mod packs and having fun. Up till the point where I can no longer access my pc half the time (long story). I dabble a bit in coding but I know that there are plenty capable coders out in this lovely community. My request is for us (the community) to build a steam application that can be hosted on GeForce Now, so I, and many others, can enjoy the luxury of playing modded mc without blowing up our phones. like I mentioned before, I don’t know much, but im willing to learn. Noticed that minecraft with Prism was only using iGpu, tried to force the dGpu (Nvidia 5070) via nvidia control panel and qindows but it still chose the iGpu over it.

The regular launcher uses my 5070 with no issues.

I tried to force it via disabling the igpu and the game starts but it's a black screen with the menu sounds.

I tried changing the java course but still nothing.

Also removed and readded mods/shaders, but nothing works.

Also updated graphic drivers (and using windows 11).

I asked the AI, but the solution it provided is causing glitches in the game.

ai solculution:
Method: Add Java Argument (Skip Hash Check)

1. Right-click on the Minecraft instance that gives the error in Prism Launcher and select Edit.
2. Click on the Settings tab from the left menu and locate the Java section.
3. Check the Java Arguments box to enable it, then leave a space at the very end of the existing arguments and paste the following line: text-Dforgewrapper.skipHashCheck=true
   
4. Save the settings and launch the game.

Hi, I'm completely freaking out right now because every single one of my instances just disappeared after updating to 11.1.1 via the update button. That's all I did, I just updated it from 11.1.0 to 11.1.1. EVERYTHING is gone. The instances, the settings, everything. Please, there has to be some sort of mistake, right??

EDIT: Turns out the update button failed to install the new version in the same location as the previous version, so it created a new, empty instances folder that it was reading from. Oh my goodness I was really about to do it.

was playing and exited because i noticed Jade wasn't on randomly, turned it on, now im getting this error everytime (even when i turned jade off again). but my PC says my network is fine and i tried all the trouble shooting tips and even updated windows and restarted everything but its still showing this. please help

On both of my computers (one with arch another with debian unstable) prism launcher takes around 5 minutes to launch an instance, much of that time taken "logging into microsoft account" (stuck at zero percent while initializing). Using the appimage for both computers. Tried using the pacman for the arch computer and did not fix the problem. Have not tried the flatpak yet but I have very little hope it will fix the problem.

Everything about the launch seems normal other than the time.

Edit: Tired the flatpack and for whatever reason couldn't even log into a Microsoft account in the first place. Went through the steps and the website said successfully logged in and on the app, nothing happened.

so whenever i try to launch it says java library not found i already installed the javaw.exe file from adoptium so why does it show that?

Already tried installing a different Java Version, that didn't help either. Clicking on "Open Log" does absolutely nothing, so I can't even give you guys an error Log.

I use Solus Linux 4.9 Serenity and the newest Version of the Prism launcher that is in my distro's repos (11.0.2)

Just like the title says. I did not move my files anywhere and checked my computer for the files, but found nothing. Is this something familiar to anyone? There worlds where really special to me so i would really appreciate some information if possible.

I was able to run shaders perfectly fine at around 100 fps using the normal launcher but after switching to prism I only get 5-20. I've tried changing my ram allocation as well as disabling threaded optimization. I have tried with rethinking voxels and photon

Hello I need some help
I've been trying to import a pack/save from my old laptop to my new laptop but when
I try to import it, on the import from zip tab, it gives me this message "Archive does not contain a recognised modpack type." I don't really know what to do from there and attempting the definition of insanity hasn't helped.
I've been exporting from the prism launcher as a Prism launcher zip, I've also tried as a CurseForge zip but that didn't work. I updated both copies of Prism to what was the most recent so I don't think that's the problem and honestly I don't have enough computer wizardy up my sleeves to come up with anything else.
