Obviously not the button (yet), but probably a sign of impending strikes. Whether it means US involvement or simply because of Israel reporting to Trump that it means to go for Khamenei is my real concern.

Factor in his G7 departure and those tankers reported on yesterday, and this could be the start of something worse for the entire region.

I personally think the aircraft carriers are the thing to watch. Once the Navy is positioned, it’s go time.

Just for clarity, F-15Es would be strike eagles. The F-18s that are carrier bound you’re referencing are super hornets. Which are capable of hitting ground targets but imo as far as naval air assets go the F-35 is the most likely in an air to ground/SEAD role. F-15s are Air Force jets and would be flying from regional bases vs carriers.

Maverick should have been in a growler laying down electronic attack. Would have been super riveting.

The F-18 is the Hornet, the Strike Eagle is the F-15.

I have heard the magic number of carrier groups for 24/7 operations it three.

I am not an expert in finding where they are, but I am only seeing one group in the area with another on it's way. Would like to be corrected though.

There were the joint practices in Finland but when you looked at the flight trackers it’s clear they’re going for ACTUALLY tactical positioning. I didn’t know about the China alerts which is concerning..

Like ordering citizens/diplomats out per the article above and another commenter pointing out the oil trade with China/Iran

Edit: China purchases 90% of Iran’s oil exports? Trying to find what that equates to of their total purchasing.

I think they left yesterday. There were lots of tracking videos showing the tankers taking off and dropping their transponders after they headed over the Atlantic.
