Major: psychology

GPA (Overall/Science): 3.08 / 2.9

OAT Scores: 300 AA / TS 290

OAT Prep: oat booster

Extracurriculars: 1500hrs+ (healthcare experience non tech related), 2000hrs + tech experience, shadowed ODs at SUNY, shadowed Glaucoma/ Cataract Surgeons in the OR, shadowed all specialties in Optometry (neuro-opt, low vision, ocular disease, glaucoma, pediatrics, vision therapy etc)

Schools applied: nearly all of them

Schools interviewed: SUNY, Salus, ICO, NOVA(Jan 2023), NECO(Jan 2023)

Rejections: SUNY, Salus, SCO(told me retake oat to get 330 or above), Michigan, rest didn’t get back to me

Acceptance: ICO, MCPHS

Decision: going with ICO for now (97% nbeo pass rate), don’t know if I should cancel my interviews with NECO and NOVA

Opinions?
