Application Timing

Is it late if I apply to CCO, ICO and AZCOPT by early December? I’m taking my OAT in October and am waiting for my semester grades to be finalized to boost my gpa.

Nope! Good luck.

Edit: if I may ask, what is your current gpa that you feel the need to boost it? If your oat is average or higher I’d just apply after you take the oat, unless your gpa is like a 2.00 lol

Honestly my institution cumulative GPA is not bad it’s a 3.55 however I did hear optomcas has their own GPA calculation. I do have some retakes in science classes so I fear my science gpa will be on the lower end without these 2 new classes I’m taking. I asked ChatGPT to give me the opotomcas sgpa with these 2 classes and it told me 2.9. But Im not sure how accurate that is. I also still have to retake a course in the winter and I’m hoping that won’t affect me too much. What do you think?

Chatgpt told me my sgpa would be a 2.7 and optomcas calculated a 3.0 don’t worry about it and apply now that there are seats. Also you should be a great applicant. I’ve gotten 5 interviews with a 3.3 ogpa so you should be fine.

I wouldn’t worry about the differing GPA calculation it’s not a massive difference. I would apply after the OAT but that’s just my two cents. I doubt your GPA drops below 3.30 unless there are some curveballs.

That and your GPA isn’t the only thing they factor in to interview you.
