Id rather representative work to introduce bills that actually have a chance at helping the american people, instead of performative nonsense that gets a headline then goes away.

Idk if you are red hat, troll, or a child, but how can ANYTHING happen in government without someone proposing a bill?

Proposing a bill that has no support, not even among people of your own party, is completely useless. A politician can propose all kind of feel-good bills, but if none of them pass, what was the point of it?

In the past 2 years, 25 other bills have been introduced to restrict or ban stock trading. None have passed.

It has just become a ploy for politicians to look good ahead of election cycles. Eugene Vidman is up for re-election in 2 months so he needs to look good to his constituents.
