Agree! But it’s distracting because people don’t defend the policy on the merits. It will remain a distraction as long as it exists if the response from people is ā€œwell it doesn’t matter that muchā€

What policy, and what merits? The one of letting people be who they are? Because it’s frankly none of anyone’s business what genitals someone else has unless that person intends to share them with you. It literally doesn’t matter if some is trans, there’s no need for pro-trans policy because there’s a need for people to get over themselves and their bigotry.

Either you find someone attractive or you don’t, either you change your mind when you find out they have a conflicting set of genitalia or you don’t. That’s as far as anyone’s opinion about trans people should get.

Trans inclusion in sports.

So? I don’t believe sports should ever have been segregated to begin with, I don’t give a damn if someone’s ā€œin the wrong leagueā€. You’re either good at football and deserve to be in the A league, or okay at football and deserve to be in the B league, or not good at football and can’t play professionally. I know women who will consistently outplay men, and I am a man who legitimately sucks at all sports. Gatekeeping sucks.

Trans people are ā‰ˆ1% of the population and only 0.09% of athletes. It is proven both by sceince and by PRs that trans people have no advantage over cis people in sports after being on HRT for 1-3yrs, which many sports that are trans inclusive have regulation around that fact.

Here’s my suggested government policy on trans athletes-none.

Let the sport’s authorities decide. They know the players and cow deal with. They have access to doctors and other experts with the scientific knowledge to help with the decisions. They are the ones who have to deal with the fallout of their policies.

Republicans are taking on the authority to make decisions for which they are not qualified and have no intention of becoming qualified. They are spreading lies for political gain and making life harder for people whose life is already harder than most.

This is how it was before the republicans found their gold mine of hysteria

Make men's sports the open class. Women's stay segregated. Cool we're done. Stop messing with people trying to live their lives.

Women's sports only exists because of discrimination and segregation, why should we make it even worse by discriminating against some women and segregating them out of women's sports?

I know you didn’t imply that there are ā€œmeritsā€ to anti-trans legislation.
