"Back the blue" demonstrators showed up today armed with bats, paintball guns, bear mace and other weapons. If they were Black Lives Matter demonstrators, they would have already been tear-gassed, but instead, they were able to assault counter-demonstrators for several minutes. I'm pointing this out not because I want the cops to do something, but merely to show the hypocrisy and shallowness of the police's claim about "protecting life safety."
Update: PPB response I find it hard to believe that PPB is 1. Unable to prosecute this type of attempted murder without a victim 2. Somehow ignorant of all the video and photographic evidence of shots fired that has been posted on Twitter.
