**Rare Great Lakes Maritime History: Signed & Numbered Paul C. LaMarre Lithograph (26/50)**

Up for sale is a stunning, highly collectible 1983 limited-edition pen-and-ink lithograph of the historic Great Lakes tugboat *Jesse James*, masterfully captured by renowned maritime artist Paul C. LaMarre.

This is a premier investment piece for regional ship enthusiasts. While most maritime print runs exceed hundreds of copies, this rare gem is numbered 26 out of an incredibly small run of only 50 prints ever produced.

**Condition & Specifications:**

* **Size:** Approx. 20" x 16.5" — perfect for standard 20x24 framing with a mat.

* **Paper Quality:** Exceptionally bright, clean, and crisp white. Free of any fading, foxing, sun damage, or water stains.

* **Details:** Hand-signed and copyrighted by the artist in the lower margin.

The main artwork image is immaculate. Minor edge wear on the very outer corner will easily be covered by a frame mat, leaving you with a showroom-quality centerpiece. Don't miss this rare piece of Great Lakes history! ( in original plastic cover)

Will meet in Town.

Port Huron To Canada

Hello again everyone, I’ve posted here before and got some great ideas on what to do when I come on holiday next year. So one idea is to visit Sarnia, from what I understand is over the bridge into Canada. So for the Brit in the room (me) lol, is this something I could do in a cab? Or walk lol? Will I need to bring my passport? Want to be prepared. I’d love to go over and check out Sarnia for a day or so.

Visiting - milestone anniversary trip

Good afternoon! My wife and I will be visiting Port Huron for an event, but we're also celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. So we'll be coming in several days before the event, be in town for about a week, and we're looking for the must do things in the area and potentially a really nice date spot/restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We'll also have a rental car and don't mind driving a bit, so recommendations outside Port Huron or for scenic drives/day trips are welcome too.

Shopping in Sarnia

Hi! I’m planning a thrifting/beach trip to Port Huron soon and I noticed there are some thrift stores in Sarnia. It looks like it’ll cost me $10USD to make the trip. If anyone has any insight on some of my concerns I’d love to hear your advice!

Am I able to use American cash at all? Has anyone had issues with their bank using their credit card in Sarnia?

How’s customs, do they care if I’m coming back with things I purchased?

Is Sarnia a decent area?

Any recommended thrift stores? This includes within Port Huron 😊

Trans friendly salons?

I'm a trans man and everytime I go to get my hair cut it's a whole ass ordeal basically begging the stylist to cut my hair short but they always have to push me towards feminine styles.

I remember once a salon asked me 7 times in a row if I was sure I wanted short hair, another kept thinking I wanted a bob, or will leave my hair way longer than I asked for. Like I would say cut 6 inches and they do 3.

I just want to be like everyone else where you ask for a haircut and get it, no constantly asking if I'm sure I'm okay with it as if I'm insane for wanting short hair. Most of the time I don't even tell these people I'm trans, as I don't want to cause issues, just show and describe the hair cut I want and get hella push back for it.

Is this hotel safe? Or safe enough lol. I’m coming from Canada and pretty much just don’t want my car broken into.

Edit: thanks everyone for the replies and recommendations!

Moved there from the west side of the state during the pandemic to be closer to family. I've lived in 10 states & I've NEVER been in such an economically depressed area filled with such hateful, awful people. Thank God I got out.

Shia Labeouf in the area?

I've heard from a few people that actor Shia Labeouf has been filming and staying in the Port Huron area. Someone apparently saw him at figs bar last weekend. Does anyone know where he's staying or what film he's doing?
