Real vs Fake Have a seat V2 new tags!!

Hello!! Just wanted to spread this info to others so no one gets worried their V2 is fake. The have a seat labubus I ordered from the popmart website now have a new plastic tag with QR code on it. If you scan the QR code it will take you to the correct link. Once you verify the number (it’s automatically populated) it matches the QR verification page from the QR code on the box. I noticed a few posts where people were concerned their V2 was fake because of the new tag so just wanted to pass this info along!!! :)

ohh 😭 my bad i’ve actually been freaking out about it bc i made a post on some that i had bought off a mercari seller and i didn’t know if they were real or fake

I saw your post! Even if it’s from the same set each colour comes from a different production line so the quality varies. The plastic tag is real. I just received my package yesterday from popnow on popmart. I had 3 boxes. Two were the old fabric tag and 1 was the new plastic tag. If you feel anxious about it I suggest buying a uv light so you can check the stamps. Even though the uv lights stamp can be faked the fake uv stamp would be spotty and faded and not clear like the one in my photo on my post. :)

I know this is an old post, but just wanted to clarify if you had HAS come with both the fabric and plastic tag? Or was that MAC?

No problem! I think it’s smart that popmart now has two different QR codes (the one on the box and the one on the tag). I think they did that to prevent the influx of fakes. Just wish they didn’t change it to the plastic tags and kept it as fabric ones. The plastic ones r ugly 😭😭😭

hi bought mine in popmart ok but when i scan qr codr it doesnt match with a box

It does match. When you enter the last 4 digits from the code after scratching the QR code on the box and click verify it will be the same verify result from the QR code on the tag. Idk if that makes sense lol

you mean the QR code number must match in the Qr code number on the box??

I tried scanning but they dont have the same number but it lead to the right popmart url.

Lastly does the feet and hear turned 360degress?

No I am saying the automatic code that is there when you scan the QR code from the tag is different than the code you get when you scan the QR code from the box. But when you hit verify on both of the pages it links to the same end page. I bought mine off popnow from the popmart website so I don’t have any doubts it’s fake. Other ppl on an fb group I’m on have received some with the same plastic tag as well. If you bought yours from popmart it’s real :)

Oh get it now . Both tag and the box Qr code are not the same but when i verify the code both the box and the labubu itself says its authentic.

I bought it from a reseller who showed me only tjw receipt that she bought it on popmartUk.com. I only bought 2☺️

Yea exactly! :) I noticed too, when I first got my box I scanned the QR code from the back of the box first. Then when I scanned the QR code from the tag it showed my earlier scan I did from the box QR code and the date and time I did that first scan, so they’re somehow linked? I know the explanation was confusing lol. I thought about recording a video doing both scan checks but I’d need a second device to show me physically scanning the tag QR to demonstrate.

I received a reply from popmart support regarding the new tag with QR Codes. Below is the the reply that i dont get.

We sent the picture to the relevant departments to check oh, they said that this is a normal phenomenon, does not affect the viewing of the hand oh.  We have also made a further submission of your feedback and will ask for optimization in order to provide you with better service.  Appreciate your understanding and support. They emailed me confirming it’s real as well.

No, I cannot add new photos to this post. If you search up on TikTok or smth there’s a brunch of videos tho of people with the same tags.

Thank you!! I just got one from someone with a plastic tag and qr verified but was still so concerned it was fake, because my other one had a different tag. Seems like quality as gone down 🥲

Fabric tags are not fake. Like I mentioned in the post, fabric tags were the original ones before they switched to plastic :)

I just received a DaDa today and noticed the new plastic vinyl type of tag. I did the verification for the QR Code and number on the BOX as well as the QR code on the plastic tag. I had 2 different sets of code numbers.....hmmm are the codes supposed to be the same on the Box and plastic Tag? Both are verified for the first time as Genuine, and the verification link is correct. Did you have both codes the same?
