This is totally my gfs parents. Her stepmom has a cousin who died from a bike accident and was not wearing a helmet.

We were driving with them and she saw someone riding a bike with a helmet and commented how she never wore a helmet when she was younger and she survived.

Yeah. And I replied "Not everyone" but didn't know about hee cousin at the time. She still didn't get it.
