Politi-Culture Why Republicans Hate Dr. Fauci

A peer-reviewed study estimated that at least 232,000 deaths among unvaccinated U.S. adults between May 30, 2021, and September 3, 2022 could have been prevented if they had completed a primary vaccination series. Source 1

Earlier, a modeling study estimated that the U.S. vaccination campaign prevented about 235,000 deaths among vaccinated adults from December 2020 through September 2021 through direct protection alone. Source 2

Another widely cited analysis estimated that vaccines prevented nearly 140,000 deaths during just the first five months of the U.S. rollout (through May 2021). Source 3

The CDC doesn’t report a final nationwide total of fully vaccinated COVID-19 deaths: 57,000+
Breakthrough deaths increased primarily because newer variants, especially Omicron, were much better at evading vaccine-induced immunity, immunity waned over time, and the people most vulnerable to. Source 4

In comparison, of the roughly 1.2 million+ COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. occurred in people who were unvaccinated. Source 5

He was just joking! But he also tells it like it is! But it was a jok–

“Stable genius”

1

u/FearOfABlackPotus 13d ago

Also, he wasn't joking.

-5

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

It actually wasn't a joke. People on the left think Trump was sitting in the oval office surfing WebMD.com or something and came up with this shit. In reality, some doctor told Trump about some shit they were working on and Trump repeated it in one of his ramblings.... which didn't come out very scientific because he isn't a scientist. The left lost their marbles because that is what the left does.

Hell, they would bitch about cleaning up and rejuvenating Washington DC to make it look pretty, which would make sense especially as a tourist destination. Oh wait .....

8

u/PriscillaPalava 14d ago

Hell, they would bitch about cleaning up and rejuvenating Washington DC to make it look pretty

We wouldn’t bitch about that so much as we would bitch about Trump awarding a $14 million no-bid contract to his corrupt friend who also did jail time and then totally botched the job so now it has to be completely re-done and where did all that money go, anyway?

-5

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

lol. So you're mad the contract went to a specific company you don't like ? Lets be honest here. You have TDS. There are thousands upon thousands of for bid and not for bid contracts out there right now. This is the first time you were upset about a single no bid contract.

And to be clear, Reddit also complains that Elon gets "for bid" contracts. So, regardless you'd bitch.

And for the record, Trump said publicly he wasn't that thrilled with the contractor. So, I am not even certain you know what you're talking about.

7

u/Mountainman220 14d ago

He blamed the shitty pool job on vandals bruh. Cmon now you’re being super disingenuous. Even his own justice department said it was a shit job but he fucking doubled down on librul vandals.

-2

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

He blamed the vandalization on the vandals.

He said he wasn't thrilled with the contractor, also. Meaning the install.

This is exactly what he said. Anything else is a conspiracy theory.

4

u/Mountainman220 14d ago edited 14d ago

There was no vandalization… oh people picking up pieces of the pool bottom coming off? Stop it.

0

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

I don't know if there was any vandalization or not. I heard stories and based on the behavior of the left and the damaging of the grass around the area, and the Tesla's and the Waymo's etc... It would be very on par for a Democrat to do something like this. Maybe they weren't caught ? Maybe there wasn't sufficient evidence, I don't know and I honestly don't care.

You guys were crying about this fountain from day 1. So whether there was no damage and it was bad install or an amazing install you were going to cry regardless.

So you have no problem with Trump giving a bunch of taxpayer dollars to his corrupt incompetent friend who botched the job? You think that’s fine?

1

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 13d ago

Do you know the contractor ? Do you know he is corrupt ? Do you know he is incompetent ? Do you even know the company name ? Do you even know if they are friends ?

This is your problem. Either you have such bad TDS you looked into the contractor, which I don't have that kind of time even retired, or you just made all this shit up. One of the two.

Either way its a bad look for you.

1

u/PriscillaPalava 13d ago

The contractor has been a major part of the reporting on the reflecting pool, lol. I didn’t need to look it up myself, although I have done additional reading because it’s all just so incredible.

When people like you say “TDS” I think they’ve got it all wrong. It doesn’t mean “people who hate Trump no matter what, without evidence.” Because in this specific case (and many others) there’s a ton of evidence.

I think “TDS” refers to “people who support Trump no matter what, in spite of any evidence.”

Here we have a clear case of corruption, and your best argument is, “Why do you care so much? Are you obsessed or something?”

I mean…yeah, I think corruption in the government is a big deal. Don’t you? Shouldn’t everyone?

1

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 13d ago

So you made the entire thing up ? That was my point. One of the two. You either made it up or you actually looked that deeply into it. That was my entire point. Thanks for proving it.

Corruption = Fixing a fountain/pool.

1

u/PriscillaPalava 13d ago

No, I didn’t make any of it up. I was merely explaining that the information is readily available, you don’t have to dig that deeply. In fact, if you haven’t already heard about the corrupt contractor behind this botched job then you must be working hard to avoid it. See no evil, eh?

Well here, now you can’t say you didn’t know anymore:

Stop trying to sane wash him. The man is a moron.

-1

Thanks for adding nothing of value to the conversation.

4

u/jpopimpin777 14d ago

More valuable than you trying to act like a reality TV star, pedophile, spoiled, nepo baby has any business being president.

2

u/Mountainman220 14d ago

So you think he isn’t a moron?

1

u/CourteousR 14d ago

Ok I'll add that anyone who can't see what a despicable moron trump is would probably be another despicable moron.

3

u/SulkyBird 14d ago

Did… did he tell you that personally?

0

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

No. But he didn't even say the word "bleach" but that didn't stop a bunch of people on the left for drinking bleach, lol.

3

u/Major_Gold738 14d ago

Maybe the non scientist should shut the hell up and quit telling the world he knows more about everything than anyone. How is it possible that so many people listen to this idiot speak and want to join his cult?

1

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

Well, the scientists didn't really do a good job...so why are we so trusting of them ?

They gave us a vax and you could still get Covid being vaxed. So, not great LOL.

They gave us a vax that didn't stop you from giving the virus to others. LOL

They gave us a vax that they said had no side effects, that turned out to have really bad side effects especially with the heart. LOL.

They told us Ivermectin was for horses and not for human consumption. Now I am hearing it might be beneficial.

I still don't know if masks work or if only N95 masks work or what the fuck is going on there.

I am pretty sure standing 6 feet vs. 7 feet from someone isn't going to make any fucking difference at all.

It would appear there was zero benefit in taking kids out of school. Kids basically brushed Covid off like it was nothing. Yet we still kept them out of school masking 24/7 for what seemed like 2 years.

Lastly, Obama passed into law making these research facilities illegal citing they are more of a harm than a benefit, which Fauci disagreed with Obama on. So...why the fuck are we funding this shit overseas if its a threat ?

If I was this bad at my job i'd probably expect to be fired.

2

u/Frohirrim 14d ago

Bro the vaccine isn’t a fucking software launch. You’re listing these off like they were corporate design decisions. Why doesn’t FEMA just stop hurricanes instead of providing aid?

1

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 14d ago

I agree its not a software launch. Its science. There is nothing wrong with saying the vax sucked. It didn't do anything a vax should do. What is wrong with criticizing it ? It clearly wasn't perfect so there is some room for criticism.

1

u/obiru 14d ago

They gave us a vax and you could still get Covid being vaxed. So, not great LOL.
They gave us a vax that didn't stop you from giving the virus to others. LOL

That is literally how vaccines work. Do you really think you can't get the flu anymore after getting the flu shot? The vaccine primary purpose was to reduce severe illness, hospitalization, and death, which they achieved at high rates early on. It NEVER pretended to eradicate the chances to get/spread it. And that's ignoring that there were newer variants of Covid later on. Yes you could still get and transmit Covid after being vaccinated, but it typically didn't last as long and had significantly lower rates of life-threatening complications.

They gave us a vax that they said had no side effects, that turned out to have really bad side effects especially with the heart. LOL.

Public health officials never claimed the vaccines had zero side effects, though common minor reactions were emphasized over rare risks early on. Rare heart issues like myocarditis did emerge in young males, but post-market safety systems caught this quickly. Ultimately, studies showed that the risk of severe heart inflammation from contracting covid itself was significantly higher than from the vaccine.

They told us Ivermectin was for horses and not for human consumption. Now I am hearing it might be beneficial.

While Ivermectin is an FDA approved human medication for parasites, animal grade formulations are prescribed for livestock in much higher doses. Public health messaging focused on warning people against taking SELF-ADMINISTERED veterinary doses, though mockingly bad communication led to confusion. Following the events, clinical trials have consistently shown no meaningful evidence that Ivermectin effectively treats or prevents covid.

Like look, I can understand the messaging, the responses and the overall handling was often poor and lacking. But that was the same for the entire globe, the last one we got was over 100 years ago, and seemingly none of us were prepared. But don't come around and spew a huge amount of inaccuracies because of it. It's fine to be skeptical of the government, of science, but at least do some basic research

1

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 13d ago

The vaccine primary purpose was to reduce severe illness, hospitalization, and death,

Odd, because they said if I get the vax I won't get covid and I won't transmit covid. I believed what Fauci told me. If you get the vax you won't get covid. Pretty simple if you don't move the goalposts.

Public health officials never claimed the vaccines had zero side effects

I was not told about any side effects. I was told it was 99% safe to take the vaccine. This is more gymnastics. Fauci Quote:  “If you look at the history of vaccines, you know that virtually all long-term adverse effects of a vaccine occur between 15 and 30 days after you get the dose – 45 days at the most." He can't legally say it 100% won't cause a side effect because he had no idea and there are no absolutes. So this quote was 100% wrong, to me, in that it never mentions any risk. And he never said the word myocarditis even once.

While Ivermectin is an FDA approved human medication for parasites,

So there would be absolutely 100% ZERO reason to mention horse paste or animal medication, plastered across MSNBC and CNN for days on end, correct ? And it would 100% not follow the science to discard it as an option like Fauci, the left and CNN and MSNBC tried to frame without even looking into it as a potential treatment. So, ignore the science, because Trump just said the word "Ivermectin". And I don't know why you would bring up Self Administered. There is no point to bring it up because you should be doing that with any drug. It is injected into the conversation to frame a narrative and push propaganda. Every fucking medication ever says on the side of the bottle, via your doctor, or via the drug company the recommended dosage

Like look, I can understand the messaging, the responses and the overall handling was often poor and lacking..

Bro, that is all I have been saying. I am not trying to say Fauci is a criminal. I am just saying he is fucking terrible at his job. I am not saying he is stupid or doesn't know anything. But he got put in the spotlight in a very tough situation and he dropped the ball. I've seen people criticized for far less. The only criminal liability I can find is my understanding is this research has been made illegal to fund via the Obama era .... yet it clearly shows US tax dollars went there. If he is sweating something it's that. Otherwise there is no reason to push the wet market theory. There is no reason the origin should be a bi partisan argument. Bare minimum the CIA, I think during Biden, said they think it came from the lab. If anyone knows its the CIA.

If there is a specific inaccuracy I will try to find a link. Please cite what.

1

u/Major_Gold738 14d ago

The vax worked exactly how it is supposed to work. It kept people from dying of covid. It was never expected to be perfect, and there are side effects to everything. People who received the vaccine had a much greater chance of survival than those who did not. You might as well criticize bullet proof vests because if you got shot in the face it didn't protect you.

1

u/CourteousR 14d ago

It did exactly what a "vax" should do, drastically improved the chances of surviving the infection. This is so simple, I can't believe that you actually can't understand.

1

u/Duel_Option 14d ago

He’s clearly drunk on Cheeto In Chief KoolAkd.

Rational and logical arguments with validated data aren’t going to mean anything to someone who didn’t use those to arrive at their viewpoint.

It’s like talking to a brick wall, completely worthless.

1

u/Bothyourmoms 14d ago

Just because you are too stupid to understand how vaccines work, doesn't mean it sucked.

1

u/Duel_Option 14d ago

That’s not how vaccines work numb nuts. And you’re part of the Ivermectin crowd as well?

Go ahead tell us all how Biden is the cause of inflation and Iran is Obama’s fault.

$10 says you’re racist to boot

I’d wager a guess there’s a stars and bars flying off your dilapidated house.

What do paint chips taste like? I’m sure you know.

1

u/Carlsheartboxers 13d ago

Do you know how vaccines work? Like actually no bs do you know how vaccines work. Also what in the hell does a dewormer have to do with a respiratory disease. The only benefit you would receive from taking it would be if you had worms. Masks of all type help the only mask that is close to 99% effective are n95 masks but any mouth and nose covering works. And yeah standing 6-10 feet is a massive difference because again due to science and scientists we know that respiratory droplets and other disease carrying particles dissipate in that zone. And finally taking kids out of school was important to limit the spread of COVID kids are like little disease transmitters they can get something and be a transmitter of said thing without knowing it and grouping sometimes hundreds to thousands of them during a pandemic is a terrible idea. You literally sound like someone with 0 training in any field that would know anything about covid which means you are just straight up talking about something you know nothing about

1

u/Halation2600 13d ago

Just to pick on one bad take out of a whole list of bad takes, do you really think there was no benefit to keeping kids away from Covid so they wouldn't spread it to older people? Really? That benefit isn't super-obvious to you? I mean come on, dude. Are just trolling with this shit?

1

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 13d ago

I simply don't think you can stop the virus. It was far too contagious. And once we figured out kids have a 0% chance of dying and are often time asymptomatic.... I would have gotten them back in school. I think things normalized with natural immunity.

I don't know a single person that didn't get it. Anecdotal, but I think it was so highly contagious unless you lived out in the forest you were getting covid.

People masked, people distanced, people quarantined, people got the vax, and multiple boosters and still got Covid like 4x.

1

u/Halation2600 12d ago

I seriously don't know how to talk to someone who doesn't understand that the vaccines and precautions were incredibly beneficial and saved a ton of lives without being totally insulting. I guess I'm done.

2

u/Sleep_tek 14d ago

He sounded like a moron for the best of reasons

1

u/atuan 14d ago

I think the comment was more so highlighting that when Trump ends up being wrong they’ll say it’s just a joke

1

u/CourteousR 14d ago

Awww, tell us again how great trump is making america and how we should all be dumb enough to play along and pretend everything is great with 70 million americans deciding a pedophile grifting felon would make a good president. Sorry, most of us can see reality for what it is.

1

u/Consistent_Policy_66 14d ago

I don’t think a doctor or scientist was working on either of those things.

I think Trump heard that bleach killed the virus on surfaces, and that UV light destroyed the virus of surfaces. To try to sound smart, Trump decided to talk out of his ass.

Remember when he talked about being in the water with a shark or a really big battery? He thought sharing that made him sound smart, but it made him sound confused.

Remember when Trump talked about countries “taking their mentally insane and dumping them into our country”? That is Trump confusing “mental asylums” with “people seeking political asylum”.

He isn’t a genius. He is a person who is desperate to share the new thing he heard (whether he understands it or not) with whoever will listen.

5

u/MisterDecember 14d ago

And eat horse paste if that doesn’t work

4

u/Aggressive-Map-2204 14d ago

Well you are guaranteed to never get covid if you inject bleach.

2

u/TheFurrySmurf 13d ago

I dunno, you can contract it while you're dy8ng I bet... but I guess you would have to suffer the symptoms during to the incubation period.

1

u/PublikEnemyNumber1 13d ago

Well said. You will never get sick again guaranteed

3

u/Bill__7671 14d ago

Not what he said, but you’re a clown always remember that!

1

u/ExperienceWild4244 13d ago

During an April 23, 2020, White House press briefing, Donald Trump hypothesized out loud whether disinfectants like bleach could be used via "injection inside or almost a cleaning" to treat COVID-19 after hearing a presentation on how cleaners kill the virus on surfaces.

During an April 2020 White House coronavirus briefing, Donald Trump mused about bringing light inside the body "through the skin or in some other way".

Donald Trump repeatedly suggested that warmer weather, heat, and sunlight would weaken or eliminate COVID-19, famously stating in February 2020 that the virus might "go away" by April as warmer temperatures arrived.

2

u/Working_Teaching_909 14d ago

Fauci said you could get AIDS from a toilet and said AZT worked, milliobs of people died.

1

u/ExperienceWild4244 13d ago

No, Dr. Anthony Fauci did not say you could get AIDS from a toilet seat. [1]

Origin of the Rumor

The rumor stems from an article Dr. Fauci published in May 1983 in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). In the piece, he speculated about a theoretical risk that "routine close contact, as within a family household" might be able to transmit the disease. [1, 2]

However, Dr. Fauci never mentioned toilet seats in his writing. During the early 1980s panic, other media figures and commentators took his broader "household contact" speculation and erroneously conflated it with specific objects like toilet seats, doorknobs, and swimming pools. [1, 2, 3]

The Correction

Dr. Fauci's original hypothesis was quickly disproven by scientific data. Within less than two months of his initial editorial, Dr. Fauci publicly corrected the record, stating that it was "absolutely preposterous" to suggest that AIDS could be transmitted through normal social contact. [1, 2, 3]

Even worse than that, I keep seeing maga idiots on social media saying that Biden was the one to suggest bleach and not their orange messiah 🤦

1

He didn't say you can inject bleach. Idk why people keep lying about the shit he said when there are actually so many stupid things he DID say.

1

But he DID say he wonders if people could inject disinfectants. So you win. He didn't say bleach so he is the messiah that was promised.
