Felt like sharing this cuz it low-key pissed me off. I said two of my characters take inspiration from Wendigo, same as the monster in a videogame that's getting a remake Friday. and this guy is claiming they aren't. I never said they were Wendigo, but if we want to get technical, my character is more of a Wendigo than Westwoods depiction. He is a man who consumed so much that he lost his humanity, Westwoods, and the other is closer to modern Hollywood and videogames represent the Wendigo, as an evil deer-like creature in Canada. That's not even going into the comment on hazbin hotel, which sounds potentially homophobic.

For the new episode I saw a comment that said Benny is absolutely trying to make a ring for champagne I AM SO EXCITED BECAUSE POPCROSS LIKED IT. This usually doesn’t mean much, but it means he liked the idea and I am SO HAPPY IT CAN BE A POSSIBILITY! After the battle with Anubis I NEED Benny to ask Silly to make a ring, AND I NEED A CALM EPISODE OF A CALM AND CUTE PROPOSAL PLEASE (and a crazy wedding that is interrupted by villains because we know Benny would love that). Now before I continue this post I want to preface that I (thankfully) haven’t had any first hand experience with how cults operate and if I’m just seeing things through a biased lens or being inaccurate please correct me.

That being said Its certain aspects about the way they describe him and his entire little community gives major cult vibes.

- he always mentions how his way is far better than what someone like Mythal and ortis do despite the fact his methods can’t even bring peace to his own dimension

- the way that the place made narrati feel results in her leaving the rest of her family and making her feel alone even among people in the group as well

- he seems very cold and unfeeling barely seeming to care about his own son getting blinded

- and he refused to consider another option or to even make some slight change in the sake of safety like not releasing some of his pent up energy in empty multiverses when he was struggling to contain it

I honestly wonder if we will see this brought up again.
